RIP Peter. Was our left back when I started going regularly in the early 80’s as a 10-13yr old. In fact I’ve got a team that just rolls off my tongue as simple as the alphabet does simply because of the fascination it gave you as a child. Fox Evans Hampton Dodd Watson Bracewell Griffiths Maguire Chapman O’Callaghan Heath I may or may not have that spot on without research but that 11 rolls off my tongue at 50yrs old for some reason. What I can vaguely remember he was a very decent Left back. Would arguably have got into any of our teams from then until present day. RIP Summed up brilliantly for those of us around the half century mark

P.s don’t forget are Flying Dutchman, Loek Ursem

One of the features of Hudson's glorious return that I always remember was the one-twos that we suddenly started playing. Fairly typically, it takes a pro like Huddy to remind us that he wasn't playing those one-twos on his own.
