Have to admit I thought they were in League 1 until I read this a couple of weeks back. I take it Kalamazoo don't sponsor them any more. i thought the went up for some reason not long back but take it was down Yep, they went down 2 or 3 seasons ago. Lee Blakeman was crying his eyes out on the radio. It was absolutely ACE. That long ago? i thought they played Crewe last season or did they go up? To be honest despite us nearly ending up there I haven't paid much attention to lower leagues, listen out for Pompey and Stanley results as have friends who support them. Watch plenty of other leagues MLS, la Liga etc but not Happy Shopper Leagues 1 and 2

When I looked at league 2, I was surprised to find teams there like Harrogate Town and Salford City, and thought, when did that happen!

Lee Blakeman was crying his eyes out on the radio. It was absolutely ACE. Can't work out who he actually supports. I was convinced he was a Vale fan, but I think he used to just get given the Vale gig a lot when he first started on Radio Stoke, now he commentates more on the Stoke games I'm not as convinced because he seems to give a shit about Stoke as well. He's from the area isn't he so assuming he supports one of the two? Could support neither for all we know.

Yeah same Ed, I just assumed he was a vale fan. What with his style of commentary, and the way he squeals up into the ultra sound frequency, only for the ball to cross the line for a throw in, on the half way line.

Never really realised just how ridiculous it was until I started to watch the stream along with his commentary. Then you have the polar opposite with Nige in that you don't even know we've scored.

Regardless of where they finish this season Daryl Clarke is undoubtedly their Nathan Jones, same arrogance, mis-conceived ability and knowledge, and the impertenence to blame anybody but himself for his total lack of knowledge And what the fcuk Flitcrofts role is god only knows

You sure?, always believed he was Vale Yep I know someone that is related to him always thought he was a Vale fan but there you go to be fair whatever anyone thinks of him on the radio he is clearly pro both clubs (or at lest on the radio he is) compare & contrast with say George Andrews believe Matt Sandoz is a Wolves fan

He 100% is but I’ve had this argument so many times I’ve given up Yep usually I just let people get on with it but like you say he 100% is a stoke fan, if he remains professional and genuinely feels bad if the other team in the potteries does bad, then that shows that he has a broader upbringing.

Imagine the horror of finding that not only are you Schizophrenic, with divided loyalties, but the one half of you supports the Vale!

When he was appointed at the Gas with 8 games to go they looked safe from the drop to non league but went down. He tried to change too much too quick. The next two seasons though were absolutely ace as Clarke guided Rovers to two promotions in a row. BM

He 100% is but I’ve had this argument so many times I’ve given up Have to admit I always thought he comes across as a Vale but there you go, perhaps he's trying too hard to be impartial, it's when vale concede when he's commentating on them he sounds crestfallen.

Quite clearly not but that same local radio station has Nigel Johnson and Graham Mcgarry as commentators who's allegiance is not up for debate. I'm simply saying that in my opinion I thought he might be a vale fan.

When I looked at league 2, I was surprised to find teams there like Harrogate Town and Salford City, and thought, when did that happen! salford do seem to have flown through the league system of late They achieved four promotions in five seasons after the Class of '92 took over, although this isn't a massive surprise when you consider how much money they invested in the playing squad and the wages on offer.
