Top 8 would be a decent season for us, playoffs or promotion would be fantastic! Spot on and more realistic I'd say 👍

I have not seen good coverage of the EFL in the national press for years. I used to get the 'Telegraph' the friday before the season started in the late 90s/ early 00's as it had a summary of all clubs plus their transfer business which in those days you heard little about except for clubs in your local area. I can never remember a time clubs outside top flight football got good coverage. The second tier got match reports but a paragraph summaries on football below that level. The Guardian places the WSL and foreign leagues above the EFL, which when you look at attendances and prize money (the Championship playoffs being the higher earner in world football) is galling to say the least

This league is like a ride in the national. Keep on the edge of the pack and if your in striking distance in the last 2 months you have a chance. Nerves, luck, injury does wierd things to teams,

Preston get a good write up 😂 Middlesborough's was even more insightful.

Campbell needs to step up big parts of his game for me. A huge season for him ..can see him getting a dozen goals but can't keep waiting for the ball to his feet. Orefer him wider as defenders boss him too easily. GI think Derbywill do well and we should be in the mix. Takes a few weeks for the league to take shape so not going to get all Mary if we don't start at Millwall.
