He'll do to start with, he'll be far more consistent than Fuller. Him with another good solid striker, perhaps a little younger would be fine with me! Looked spot on last year for Wigan, twice the player of Heskey, superised Bruce is letting him go.

Doubt it, Scharner's one of Wigan's star players isn't he?

Yeah, he's a workhorse more than a goalscorer - could do the Mama role while adding far more of a goal threat. Scored a hat trick for Wigan last season, proven Premiership pedigree. The Everton fan on the thread said he was a big factor in them finishing fourth a few years ago. For a million quid he'd be a bargain.

Doubt it, Scharner's one of Wigan's star players isn't he? Roy Hodgson made two bids, one in excess of £3million, for Scharner in January but Wigan were not willing to sell one of their most important players to a relegation rival. The 28-year-old is about to enter the last year of his contract at the JJB Stadium, though, and Hodgson is reported to be lining up another offer as he seeks to bolster his midfield for next season. Steve Bruce would prefer to keep hold of Scharner but he is planning a huge overhaul of his squad and is unlikely to block a move if the midfielder pushes for a transfer. Scharner has previously declared his hapiness at Wigan, though, and the Lancashire side are confident he will soon put pen to paper on a new two-year deal, according to the Manchester Evening News. thats the end of that idea then

For a million quid he'd be a bargain. my worry is he scored 3 against blackburn in a crazy 5-3 game and 2 against relegated brum, thats 5 goals in a season total of 8. but yes he would be a better goal option than mama and 1mil is a decent price compared to some transfer prices quoted

Bent has a rotten attitude and hated living in Stoke when he was with us, he didn't like the nightlife. Play him out of position and he throws his toys right out of the pram. In saying that he was treated badly by Horton. His attitude was rotten because he played for you. Thats why. SGS
