Always the same mate. People couldn't see what Mama did, they couldn't see what Whelan did, they couldn't see what Whitehead did, they couldn't see what Walters did and they cant see what Brown does. It becomes noticeable to them after they leave. Every successful team needs one or even two players willing to put that level of shift in and do the dirty work. If we don't have some grit in the team the championship will eat the new lads up. Brown can definitely be improved upon, but those qualities and that desire to fight have to be replaced. We haven’t been a successful team with him in it. The team has been unsuccessful because 20 out of 25 players haven't done their jobs throughout his time here. Brown has done his job virtually every week. Anyone with any sort of awareness of the game can recognise what Brown's job is and see that he does it.

Why, he's a great wing back, plenty of energy for closing down, we should be asking for at least £6m I like him as an impact forward player but he is an awful wingback, he cannot defend one on one at all. He would be ripped apart as a PL wingback SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

Misses sitters and is weak as piss and doesn’t compete for flick ons? He runs around a lot which is great but when he has to think he generally screws things up. An absolute shirker though when any physicality comes into and it amazes me how he gets away with that.

I really like Brown and Campbell, and it will be interesting to see who goes on to have the most successful career. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were Jacob Brown......... He'll always be clumsy with a rhino's first touch though. So has Antonio at West Ham for example. He's still young and works hard to better himself so those who wish to mock him may be surprised.......

Brown competes every week for every kind of challenge. After Pearson I'm struggling to think of a more competitive player. He misses chances and that's why he can be improved on but he does his job when utilised as a pressing forward, attacking winger and defensive winger with 110% effort and has been a bargain. If he could score more he'd be worth millions. He possibly could score more when you consider he's been top scorer whilst playing within some of the worst stoke sides for 25 years.

Antonio is also built like a rhino too so he’s able to win muscle anyone out of the way following a bad first touch.

He is bullied and offers no physicality to the front line. He’s weak. And it’s so frustrating to watch. I think he’s a Championship sub at best and tbh would happily have him here as that because he can be a pain the arse but he’s not good enough to be starting regularly in this league.

Question for you bayern what is your honest opinion of tyrese? Good finisher, lost a yard since coming back, not lazy, good crosser, average Champo player as things stand and needs a season where he scores 15+. He’s definitely capable of it but does he want?

Show me someone who can't see Brown's qualities and what he offers and I'll show you someone who doesn't understand the game that's happening infront of them. Jacob Brown's Barmy Army!!!

Because we are a shit Championship team? If you like a rancid touch, no physicality and a lot of comical moments then that’s good for you. Watching him genuinely makes me feel sorry for him 🤣

Last season I think he ran more than I want him to tbh. It’s definitely the question of attitude with him, I don’t think he has a bad one, it’s more desire.

Can’t believe I’m writing this, at present if a choice between Brown and Ty I’d choose Brown as a squad player.
Ty could be amazing but it’s no happened has it?

Let's be honest, If brown could finish he would be nowhere near stoke. He has attributes and workrate every manager loves.

Imagine the panic if we were in the Premier League and were looking to sign Jacob Brown.
Fair fucks to his agent, it'd be one hell of a move!
