What a talent we have for buying players who are basically spent or turning them shit! (Crouch excluded). I can only think of Arnautovic recently whose career went the other way with us. Possibly Nzonzi too? Ok, Shaq joined Lpool and got the medals but surely no-one would say he's a major part of the squad. Deffo Nzonzi Europa League winner, played in Champions League and Word Cup. We actually offered him more money than Seville did but he took the better career move Fair play to him. |

Leipzig's no.5 looks like a good CB. Good player for the centre of a back 3. Arsenal fans genuinely thought they were going to sign him this summer as well  delusional bastards. Mentalists. I'm not sure how he does in a 2 (he'd probably be fine) but as the centre of a back 3 he looks very good. Leipzig another German team that have a knack for finding talent. |

The best player on the pitch was Joao Felix. He should have played from the beginning, but the coward Simeone failed the courage to pick him.
But what was worse was that after Felix had thrown his team a lifeline, his team mates failed consistently to play him, even though Leipzig weren't man marking him. He could have won the match for them, but, in the end, Leipzig were deserved winners.
