Hi. I’m looking after my friend Alan’s dog while he attends a wedding this weekend and 3 of my other friends want to go out for food. Does anybody know of any dog friendly pubs that a dog can go inside if the weather is not great. Thanks.

Thanks Apparently the Lazy Trout have an indoor section which takes dogs. There's also The Black Lion at Consall Forge. I know with the former you probably need to book.

Heard good reviews about the lazy trout Lazy trouts food is decent and I would have mentioned that but it’s always been really cramped for eating so would probably need to check what they’ve put in place for that. As the other poster said (sorry couldn’t remember the name) it is extremely popular year round and would probably require booking. Hope all helps and you have a good day out with the hounds, god knows we need them at the moment👍🏻

I was in a restaurant in Laos that served dog. In fact while I was there a truck pulled up with about a dozen dogs in a cage on the back. Obviously the next days Special. Used to be a chap from Laos posted on here, wonder if he ever ate there

This could have a very different outcome if it was China, the dog often ends up as the meal

Going the lazy trout with Arnold( dog) today. My human friends Trevor and Domingo. Alan has not come back for his dog yet as he says he as a cold so can't come to get him just yet. Wondering whether to get myself a little hound.
