The game was played in February with a sprinkling of snow on the pitch, Stoke scored 8, ( Coleman 7 King 1) Those were the days! Didn't we go a blank run of failing to score after that game or similar ..only a couple of goals until the end of the season Some historian chap will know  |

As we are talking about big wins thought I would bring this posting back. Highest score for a Stoke player in one game. My dad used to talk about this 8 nil home win.. Tim Neville Coleman take a bow 7 goals from a winger.. Any body on here who went to the game ?? Laurie Leslie or Old Stokie I went to this game stood in the paddock .Yes there was snow on the ground and it was bleeding cold that night |
