Two of the people who sanctioned this mind blowing act of self harm have gone. One to go. Tony is already planning the best route to Wycombe along with the best local restaurants that we can attend together. Don't do it to yourself, he's going nowhere.

Was a decent player in his day- his day sadly being about a decade ago.
One of the slowest full backs I think I've ever seen.

Sure it was on sky earlier in the week that him and Diouf had signed till the end of the season?

That's disgusting. He happened to be the best that we could get. That's not his fault. We may like to but there's no guarantee or even likelihood that mister super leftback will join us before next season. Indi that was already with us showed he was better than ward. We sold Pieters for £1m to a PL club who was perfectly adequate although never a wing back and replaced him with Ward who was shot to shit two seasons before, sums up our transfer strategy to a tee.

Sure it was on sky earlier in the week that him and Diouf had signed till the end of the season? They had but I think now 99.99% safe it's probably a mutual agreement job. MON probably said that he won't feature and no contract offer for next season. Diouf will surely follow him despite divided opinion on here

But Bruno was never intended to play as a fullback. He pretty much hates playing there, but being a phlegmatic he's done so anyway. However he is not the left back anyone wants at scfc... It's open to discussion but had he played in his natural central defender position we might have had fewer problems there.

Good luck to him. Wasn't his fault was it. A truly bizarre signing by Jones after all his talk of fittest full backs in the land . He wasn't very good was he but no hard feelings. spot on good fullback for both Wolves & Burnley legs simply 'gone' Jones 100% to blame

Our options at LB since selling EP have been beyond incompetent management, I wonder how many points we have lost due to this pathetic avoidable situation ? hopefully we will survive this season in the Championship however some very serious questions need answering, Scholes has to go the man is a total fraud along with Coates Jnr dumb and dumber should be no where near this club next season.

not choosing to make signing a top class one not his first priority. How do you know he didn't? I think he did, but even with our money he could not force one to come here. If he did try and fail, then Jones is a thick twat for carrying on with that system. I don't think that's true. I don't think he was good, but I also don't think he was thick. That suggests that he was happy with Ward and genuinely believed he was the man for the job.

On a par with when we signed a past it Nigel Worthington as our first choice left-back in 1996. Just a shame we didn't have a 17 year old Andy Griffin to replace him this time around. Father Ted was and still remains my very favourite geriatric left back.

Funny time to announce it seeing as he was a sub the other day. However, never really what we needed, I'm sure he probably tried his best.

With one being part of the ownership and the other a board member there is more chance of the world's best left back (whoever he is) signing a 10 year contract with us than that scenario you have in mind...

I remember how slow he was in 2012 at Wolves. I was genuinely shocked when he rocked up at Stoke. I thought it must have been another player with the same name. Astonishingly bad signing for what was expected of him.

Jones thought James McLean could be converted into a left back so it's perfectly conceivable that he also thought that Ward could be rejuvenated into something pacey and dynamic🙄

But if Bruno falls ill tonight and Tymon gets himself sent off, it will be a bit premature to have let Ward go.
