A lot of people are saying a point will be enough now to see us safe but us earning one more point makes next to no difference. Barring an absolutely bizarre goal difference swing, Luton and Hull can now only catch us with two wins from their last two games. If they get four or fewer points it doesn’t matter if we stay on 49 or move onto 50, they won’t catch us whatever. The only way earning a single extra point could be crucial to us is if Barnsley somehow get seven points from their very tough last three games. Or if Huddersfield get 2 draws But yeah I agree Or Charlton get a win and draw then a point would be helpful

So are we cheering on Birmingham or Charlton tomorrow? If we win in the earlier kick-off, Charlton, if we lose or draw, Brum.

Great night but let’s not count our chickens Although a Hull Luton draw sees us safe, if either of them win they both have a very winnable game on the final day. Charlton have two winnable fixtures Let’s get the job done tomorrow How does a Luton/Hull draw make us safe? It would make it unlikely that either of the 2 of them could catch us, but the bottom 3 go down, so who is the other team we are guaranteed to finish above, is it something to do with how the fixtures fall

So are we cheering on Birmingham or Charlton tomorrow? Birmingham all day long. Charlton have Wigan (h) and Leeds (a) after tomorrow..... We kick off at 5 don’t we? And that game at 6? If we win I’ll want Charlton to win First half though I’ll want Birmingham to win until our game is over.

We have a far superior goal difference. If we keep the scores down were safe.

What happens if Hull and Luton draw? If we lose all 3, because their GD is so bad, then both Luton and Hull will need to win their last 2 games to overtake us. But they can't do that because they play each other at the weekend. If that game ends in a draw then we're safe no matter what happens unless Barnsley win their last 3 games. OS.

The other scenario is if Wigan are deducted the 12 points and then lose at Charlton at the weekend and providing Barnsley lose at Leeds we’re also safe👍It’s looking in our favour tonight but let’s make sure we get something tomorrow

They can’t finish above us. Presuming Barnsley can’t beat Leeds on Thursday, then Brentford and some other team after a play off space 😁

This is like those....
If a train leaves Euston at 1-20 pm travelling at 58mph and another ones leaves at 2-47 travelling at 87 mph...
Feck it, not happening
All is well. Speaking of trains in no way will we have the misfortune of visiting the likes of Crewe.

I suppose with safety almost certain, who would we prefer to stay up out of those most risk?
I honestly think if Luton stay up,they will really struggle again next season.I actually think the 3 month shut down helped them. They haven't got the squad for a 46 game Championship season, and with playing 9 games to finish this one and a quick turn around for until next season starts,I can see them really struggling.

Right - having just looked at Barnsley's fixtures - highly unlikely they are going to gain many more points - although stranger things have happened
