Win tomorrow (somehow) and we're home and hosed. If hull v Luton is a draw on Saturday it won’t matter what we do 👍

Its been a good night for us. Effectively 5 points clear of the bottom 3. Hull and Luton only have 2 to play. Barnsley rock bottom with 3 to play.....Leeds, Forest and Brentford... 😯😯 Time to crack the bubbly 🍾 Hull and Luton play each other Saturday so a draw and we’re safe. BM Plus of course it means only one can catch us, not both. And whichever one that is has to win both their remaining games. I don’t think we’d go down even if we lose all 3.

Win tomorrow and it's party time Party time is a strong word It’s been a very poor season regardless very true but starting on a level playing field and not having that utter bollox, Jones in charge we can have a decent season after what we've witnessed since November under MON.

And let’s not forget the possible points deductions for Wigan and Sheff Wed

To be honest I’d be happy for it to stay 1-1 Why? Because there would probably have been more of a chance of it ending with a Luton win with them being at home, so 1-1 would be a half decent result especially with them taking the lead. Obviously a QPR win would have been better though.

Win tomorrow and it's party time Party time is a strong word It’s been a very poor season regardless Very true but given our position at Christmas, this half of the season under oneill feels like a massive success. Once we are safe I hope we can all enjoy a period of stability and improvement. Cant get any fuckin worse can it. We all want the good times back at stoke

You're all fucking mental. Check at half time and check at full time, doesn't half help with ones sanity.

That Cardiff win also means Brizzle will have to win their last 2 games and overcome a GD of 9 to get in the playoffs. With a bit of luck they'll all be so pissed off after tonight they'll take a holiday. Well, I hope so. OS. Unless they beat us tomorrow of course...

A lot of people are saying a point will be enough now to see us safe but us earning one more point makes next to no difference.
Barring an absolutely bizarre goal difference swing, Luton and Hull can now only catch us with two wins from their last two games.
If they get four or fewer points it doesn’t matter if we stay on 49 or move onto 50, they won’t catch us whatever.
The only way earning a single extra point could be crucial to us is if Barnsley somehow get seven points from their very tough last three games.
We need two more points to really, truly relax I think.

Great night but let’s not count our chickens
Although a Hull Luton draw sees us safe, if either of them win they both have a very winnable game on the final day.
Charlton have two winnable fixtures
Let’s get the job done tomorrow

There are no easy games for any of the bottom 6-8 teams.
I hope we get to safety tomorrow and then hope, hope hope that I can sit and watch the scramble that is going to be relegation.
Would love to see luton go down but still think it will be hull, huddersfield and barnsley

They’re the most likely to drop I think if one of the current bottom three does manage something heroic.

If we lose or draw tomorrow a Birmingham win against Charlton would also leave them 3 points behind us with Wigan at home and Leeds away left.....

What happens if Hull and Luton draw? If they draw against each other neither can catch us, barring a near-impossible goal difference swing.
