Not sure Butland would be out to that so quickly. Good goalkeeping.
Meanwhile, the high defensive line strikes again, with Batth and Chester chasing after the forward like a pair of tugboats.

And that's what we've been missing with Butland. The defence will make mistakes and give chances away, it can't be perfect all the time and sometimes you need your keeper to produce and bail you out. With Butland in goal though everything just sails past him and so virtually every defensive mistake gets punished.

Why is everybody going on about the challenge on Chester? It didn't look so bad to me.

Great save.
They should be down to ten men. Terrible over the top on Chester.

A draw would do nothing and would basically be the same as a loss in terms of hull and Luton would still be 2 wins away from us because of goal difference. Or am I missing something? Stoke 49pts. -10 Gd Hull. 45pts. -26 Gd Luton. 45pts. -30 Gd
Would put us 4 points clear of Charlton who have Wigan, Leeds and Birmingham to play. Would put us 2 points ahead of Huddersfield who have WBA and Milwall to play Would also move us a point clear of Birmingham.
Every little helps

I take it every time Davies catches the ball will be a...Butland wouldn't have done that comment

Why is everybody going on about the challenge on Chester? It didn't look so bad to me. It was a modern red card. And since the date is 2020 he should be off.

First time I've watched us since lockdown. I'd forgotten just how mediocre and lacking in quality most of this team is. Luckily it seems playoff hunting Bristol City are also mostly dogshit. What a stunningly trash league the championship is, save for less than a handful of teams.

Twice we've nearly been caught out on the break now due to Smithy's sloppiness.....

Twice we've nearly been caught out on the break now due to Smithy's sloppiness..... He does this. Has a decent game and you think he's improving, he's not that bad really then he does things like the penalty at Leeds and that mistake and you realise he's just not good enough.

Twice we've nearly been caught out on the break now due to Smithy's sloppiness..... The first one was ridiculous. Playing for a throw in half way up their half.

A draw would give us 50pts, 5 ahead of hull and luton who play each other on saturday. Barnsley run in, Leeds, Forest Brentford. Also wigan minus 12 pts
