Tone has been a straight Prem man since he left us, can't see him dicking about in the Championship somehow.

Typical for Stoke, new manager always derails us, that was one we would have been targeting for sure for 3 points😩 I said in an earlier post, the two winnable games for us were Brum and Bristol, let's hope the win against Brum will be enough When was the last time we beat Brum? They are our treal bogey team!

He might get a crack at Burnley if Dyche leaves and he fancies it, I can't see any other Premier side wanting him.

Is this thread about Lee Johnson, Bristol City's reason for parting with Lee Johnson OR Tone?

Hopefully their bounce, if they have one, comes in their next 2 games v Hull and Middlesboro. Lost 7 of their last 9 and only scored 5 goals. Poor form but odd time to do it. seems a good bloke as well Enough time for a new guy to assess the squad before entering the transfer market

It’s a shame for him. Seems Like a sound bloke who knows what he’s talking about. I’m sure he will have success with his next side

Would Pulis be tempted lmao, they'd be hell up in Bristol. Don't sign until we've played ya.

You'd think they'd go for Hughton and you'd think he would take it? No

I've seen a few Bristol City fans say they want Paul Cook.
Would he? I think he'll stay loyal to Wigan.

Watched Bristol City a few times this season at Ashton Gate. Weird team. They seem to take every chance they got up until January, I was thinking all it would take was a few tough results for it all to collapse and it looks like its gone that way. Be interesting to see if they actually come in Afobe still.

Lives local as well doesnt he? Sure I've seen him a couple of times in Nantwich. Surely, if you live long enough, you see everyone in Nantwitch at some point..... Which is nice.

Really surprised they sacked johnson. Agree they have been on a bad run but all teams have them especially post christmas and now in post lockdown era. Think bristol could really struggle unless they make a strong decision on his replacement

I've been to Nantwich today, I didn't see Lee Johnson though. He's often in Home Bargain opposite The Talbot pub formerly The Frog & Ferret. You must have just missed him.

Somehow, I think this is a bad move by Bristol - he's a good manager and has previously been touted for a few Championship jobs - maybe a bad patch but I dont think the players on this occasion will appreciate a change in manager and after a wait and see period they will show their reaction negatively
