Can’t wait to get beaten by their new manager now.
What’s going to happen with Afobe now?

Can't say I've been following the rest of the league very much but has this been coming? Seems a bit odd to me.

Typical for Stoke, new manager always derails us, that was one we would have been targeting for sure for 3 points😩

A bit harsh as they are about the level they should be at. Not a bad side and usually top half area.

BM called it earlier this week. Hopefully they’ll just have a caretaker for now! They’re safe anyway?

Saw the goal on SSN. Afobe lost the ball on the halfway line,Cardiff go up and score the winner. He'll be back at Stoke next season.

Can't say I've been following the rest of the league very much but has this been coming? Seems a bit odd to me. Case of Ipswich about it. Knocking around play offs. Don’t think it’s good enough, and then they realise once the managers gone that they were punching above their weight the whole time.

He's always been a streaky manager, his sides tend to go on winning runs and then lose seven or eight on the trot.
They'd never accept Toxic back there though. Could see them going for someone like Karl Robinson if Oxford don't go up (or Cook from Wigan if they implode).

No surprise. For the investment put into the club and the infrastructure, he should have had em in the play-offs at least by now. Taken them as far as he could. City are an ambitious club with an ambitious (and rich) chairman. Fans not been happy for a while. Then, when are fans ever happy.

Ipswich didn't, and still haven't, got a pot to piss in.

We could do with Afobe back next season. I’ve been saying for a long time that Johnson will likely get the sack and if so the Afobe deal is not likely to go through BM

You'd think they'd go for Hughton and you'd think he would take it?

I think they will Caretaker it for the rest of the season, they are safe, and not going up or down.

BM called it earlier this week. Hopefully they’ll just have a caretaker for now! They’re safe anyway? I’m sure they will have a caretaker for next 3 games but maybe until end of season. Looks to me that they gave Johnson as long as they could before being sure they weren’t going to make playoffs. The important thing for them now is they have a new manager for the upcoming transfer window and for whole of next season but I wouldn’t be surprised if new man isn’t in place for final two games which thankfully won’t be our game. Typical for Stoke, new manager always derails us, that was one we would have been targeting for sure for 3 points😩 I said in an earlier post, the two winnable games for us were Brum and Bristol, let's hope the win against Brum will be enough
