My goodness how far we have fallen and more worrying how far we may yet to go
For the second game running it was apparent how little our players talk up each other compared to other teams

It wasn't that good! Gouranga. Says it all when I am relieved that the bottom club only got a point away to the top club - we are fucked

Thats the joy of watching Stoke City - you think youve hit rock bottom, you try to get up and dust yourself down, then fall straight through another trap door to taken you even further into the abyss.

A good number of those players will be taking home more money this week than I'll earn in 12 months.

Nope. It's not joy. I'm close to being out, I don't support this kind of club management and disillusion. I'm not a sheep I won't follow "cuz I'm proper supporter"... Actually I think of your a true fan you will vote with your feet and voice your opposition. I willingly support those who are willing to turn on those ruining this club, and let's me of no illusion we know who they are, the two in particular... One who sadly is our future chairman. This club is done isn't it? I mean literally, it's a North Korea sinking without supplies, it's a politically in on democratic state where two idiots make substantial revisions, the poison within the club. What are we mere peasants to do about it? Fuck this club, or wait it's already fucked.

Heck, we cannot even get sponsors for our shirt or the stadium that isnt owned by the family? Its fucking depressing as anything at the moment - and, honestly, never mind bouncing right back if we go down, consolidating in league 1 would be an acheivement. But, DESPITE all that, THIS is my club, and ill be there, through thick and thin (and even thinner) because you dont turn your back in the dark days. In summary, Im not saying dont hate, but hate where hate deserves - the club is poison from the top down, but its still our club, and I for one will still be there, whether we are playing Manchester United, Mansfield Town, even Man and Dog United. Avoiding the club is a petty reaction in my book - we win some, we lose some (but thats what its all about isnt it?) but thats the beauty of it, that and dreaming of a brighter tomorrow (even if it doesnt seem possible now, we can but dream, cant we?)

I’m starting wonder if it’s the managers we’ve had in this division
Rowett - decent job at most clubs, awful at stoke, doing half decent job at Millwall
Jones - did very well with Luton, awful at stoke, 7 out of 9 points since he got back
O’Neill - unbelievable with Ireland - starting to unravel at stoke
I honestly believe it’s the players now, over and very well paid and just don’t seem to give a fuck
No heart, passion or fight

It would be shocking if we hadn’t been shit for 3 years. Agree - not really shocking at all - I think most of us expected to lose - this is beyond a sad demise - an unmitigated disaster of epic proportions considering the money we’ve squandered and opportunities spurned this past half a decade....

The rumoured lack of win bonuses in the players contracts would go a long way to explaining the rank attitudes of this lot. Another master stroke by those at top who’ve overseen this disaster.

Sorry buddy, it's not your club. Probably am illusion due to the embracing of something familiar or of resounding emotional importance, but it's not 'yours'. It the coates families club, and if you don't like how it's being administrated, then like political intervention all you can do is to not show (i.e. not vote), protests can change things, ironically we witnessed one example before kick off. This isn't "my" stoke at all, b it's a carcass, ran into a shit storm of unsustainability by the two mugs who actually own the club, "their club".

There simply has to be a protest outside of the stadium at the next game to register our discontent.

I bet the useless wankers have all been on the pop for the last 12 weeks and maybe even taken up smoking, they all look miles off the pace and have zero energy

There simply has to be a protest outside of the stadium at the next game to register our discontent. You won’t get near it unfortunately. The protests will come next season. I unfortunately have already paid for my season ticket but the mass voting of feet away from the club when they go back on sale will be the best way to register your protest. I first started supporting Stoke in the late 1960’s and apart from a few years where I couldn’t go because of work commitments I’ve been there through a few good times but many bad times as well. Quite simply if or when we go down that will be the final chapter for me in the long saga of being a supporter. I can find a lot better things to spend my money on then trudging around the League 1 grounds that I thought I would never have to set foot in again other than for friendly games. It’s sad and it hurts but enough is enough.

Ince, McClean, Afobe, Wood. Clucas) and mad Nathan brought in at least 11 of his own( some like Vokes, Batth, and Smith at high prices for a Championship club. I agree that the squad is shite but the last 2 managers and the other executives at the club are largely responsible for its composition. God only knows how anyone could get a decent performance from the group of players that are left here as none of them seem to give a shit.
