Cant believe what I've done today!
I received an email from a work colleague via LinkedIn saying that he had a business proposition. As soon as I received it I emailed him via work asking if it was meant for me. Instead of waiting for a response i stupidly trying logging in using my email details. As it said I entered my details incorrectly i left it, went back to my work computer and got an email from my mate saying that he had been hacked. As soon as I received the email from my mate I changed my email password, checked the security settings and it doesn't appear that anyone has accessed my account.
Do I have anything to worry about? Cant believe I tried when I really knew it was a scam! Goes to show how easy it is!

It's a mine field of scum, I've had Netfilx, Hotels.com, Steam all hacked over the last couple of years or so. I now change my passwords to a proper random load of crap and it seemed to have stopped them so far...... Some thieving scumbag even booked a hotel room in spain on my hotels account but fortunately I dont store "cards" online so they only used my award nights. I managed to get my account back before they used the room so I lost nothing but my time. I would double check the account and change it again every few days for a week or two with completely different passwords not the odd letter or number. I hope it turns out ok for you.
