He shouldn't of had his knee on his neck He should of been grinding into his bollocks till the fucker is screaming in agony Hopefully castrating the fucker in the meantime I wouldn’t go that far but how more gentle can a restraint be. Clearly what they did do didn’t even injure him so it couldn’t have been that heavy handed. I love the way his solicitor said he only had the knife to repair his bike. What do they take us for? The sad thing is there’ll be people who want to believe that to fit their agenda. It’s another incident where the Police need to release the bodycam if he’s charged so the public can see the whole picture. I was probably being a tad harsh but as you say how do you restrain someone with out the use of physical force

I'm sure I'll get castigated for this but when you look at this www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-53443641and the lack of support the 2 officers have received by their management and the disgusting one sided report by the media it's not surprising that stop searches will go down. We've got a society now where people are looking to initiate situations to make the Police look bad. The male detained here was arrested for affray and carrying a knife but it almost seems insignificant to the way the Police have restrained him. From the video I'm not even convinced that the officer had his knee on his neck. It looked more like he had his hand supporting his head. There is a need to fight racism one hundred percent but this sort of reporting will create an even bigger divide. As much as I hate to say this and it goes against the grain but two things the Federation should start ripping into these wet arses and cops should start to refuse to take risks and use force to effect arrests. Then see what the "bosses" think. Failing that then a bout of blue flu should be incoming, people hate cops so let's see how they go on when none turn up. I think we’re already seeing the sign of that from the figures and news articles on this thread. The media have a hell of a lot to answer for in relation to their fueling of the situation. It seems like they actually want there to be division from the one sided reporting that they feed. People in particular those younger who’ve probably never been affected by crime are being brainwashed by the press and twitter into believing something that they have never been affected by because they’ve been told “this is how it is.” All the sympathy’s with those that initially do wrong and not those that turn up to stop it. I wonder how those videoing the arrest would feel if the Police didn’t turn up and the arrested party ended up stabbing them or a friend with the knife he was carrying. That of course doesn’t seem to matter. Would they side with the “victim” then?

And here is a rare photo from inside the meeting of police chiefs and government officials as they try to tackle the epidemic of violence and murder on our nation's streets.

Step 1- You let the small time weed dealers and people caught with a bit of coke out of prison reducing the prison population and making room
Step 2- Anyone caught carrying a knife gets a minimum 3 year term, I’m slightly wary of it being longer if it’s some 18 year old idiot lad I don’t think ifs fair his entire life goes to shot ‘just’ for carrying a knife
Step 3- you use it minimum 8-10 years
Step 4- obviously if you kill someone 30 years to natural life
See if that works

There’s absolutely no deterrent whatsoever, resulting in more stories along these lines.
If I was to guess the fatalities from knife crime in the UK must run into hundreds this year but as they trickle in over a period of time they tend to get forgotten about very quickly.
People are very quick to have a go at the Police but exactly what are they supposed to do to tackle this epidemic, it’s a lost cause you’re dammed if you do and dammed if you don’t.
Obviously there’s going to be some kind of retribution after an attack resulting in more crime, it’s a shame when innocent people get caught up in it.

The other points I’m 100 percent behind. Maybe more more money spent on prisons and the CPS could be an option.

The country is fast becoming a lawless third world cess pit, the Police lost the streets when they stood back watching "protesters" defacing/ destroying monuments and running away from groups some carrying weapons it will take a major initiative to get the streets back, I fear our leaders don't have the fortitude or backbone to tackle these issues head on and out in the open precedents have been set however their reaction in Dover suggests they are still happy to take on minority groups from one community

This summer I managed to escape from a planned knife attack.
Two youngsters were fooling around in the grocery store, kicking at each other for fun. Two foreign immigrants. People got scared and left. At first I had no idea why, so I continue straight in. I was doing my ordinary shopping fgs. And there they were ... the shelves and items were flying. They stopped their kicking a while when I appeared, looked at me carrying my mobile phone for the shopping list, wearing my brand jacket. They left.
Then I felt an intuition right there, of being attacked soon. So I stayed at the shop for 30 mins, went through the shelves, looked at all what they had ...
So, when I finally left too, there was this guy in a hood jacket standing to the left of the grocery shop behind a pillar with a large knife in front of him, touching it. He looked swedish and high.
I just laughed at him inside of me and went to the right instead, reading an outdoor placed restaurant menu for half a minute, sort of declaring I wasn't frightened. Then when I went straight up the small hill to the left of the restaurant I saw them again - in the middle of the street, on the refug! The two bastards from the shop. Looking at both directions. And when they saw me, one bursted out load: Damn!
I passed them and went to where all the people were, on the other side of the street.

How many come out and go on to function well in normal society? It's not about do they deserve good treatment in prison, it's about what do they do once released.

It's not about do they deserve good treatment in prison, it's about what do they do once released. In Sweden we have a political party who wants to close all prisons, since "noone gets better by being in prison". I suppose they want no punishment whatsoever. I don't vote for them.😜

Visited the Playmobil Funpark near Nürnberg with the lad yesterday. Security searched all bags for pocket knives and alcohol. They were busy... many men in Bavaria carry pocket knives.

This a perennial UK problem. I remember Tony Blair in the last century claiming that Labour were going to be "tough on Crime, tough on the causes of Crime."
Nothing changes.

Was that before or after he opened the floodgates to mass uncontrolled immigration ? this country has major issues with law and order appeasing criminals is the wrong way to go.
