We had a bloke at University called Martin Boyle, he seemed a little unhinged to me, one of those names you just never thought you'd see again.

Is he any good tough? We need more info than we already have on him. I can't vouch for if he's any good but the clips i've seen of him he seems a runner and a scorer out wide rather than a creator. He strikes me very much of being in the Cresswell mould, but looks like he is quicker. Shares the same agent as Souttar and Tyrese.

Looks very quick on FIFA, but I think Ince is quicker than McClean there so not sure it's trustworthy!

Couple of goals from him here in December's Edinburgh derby. Before anyone talks about the standard of football, a neutral watching our game on Saturday could say the same I guess .

I think we could expect him to burst through if he gets squeezed by the defence.

The most famous 'Boyle' was probably Robert Boyle, 1627-1691,an Anglo-Irish natural philosopher, chemist, physicist, and inventor. He's famous for Boyle's law:
The absolute pressure exerted by a given mass of an ideal gas is inversely proportional to the volume it occupies if the temperature and amount of gas remain unchanged within a closed system.
Think of that next time you fart.
There was also a John Boyle who played for Chelsea in the 1960/70's

Frankie Boyle is harsh but funny, John Boyle was a Chelsea Stalwart when i was a kid, not sure how good he was, but i kept getting swaps of him in the football packets*
* note to younger people, they weren't "stickers" in those days, they were little photos, which smelled good when you first got them out of the packet.

The smell was down to the rock hard chewing gum of course. Was always the kid with the massive pile wrapped in a band.
