West Brazil site Up for sale? Jeremy Peace, Albion Chairman and Majority Shareholder, said: "We are now attractively placed to benefit from new investment and will listen to any substantive and sensible proposals which are in the best long-term interests of the club."

Seem to think it'll get them into Europe or something in a few years!
Hope it's one of them American's who ends up getting them into loads of debt, so they end up fucked like Leeds!

Who needs a Yank to fuck a club up like Leeds.
Risdale's done his job at Cardiff so maybe he can shit over the finances of another club?

A real football fan would not want a team to get into tonnes of debt and end up in administration, unless its Leeds But for the record it doesn't say we are up for sale just that we want investment which is vital in competing with clubs like Fulham, M'boro, Sunderland etc.

To be fair, we've said that we'd quite like a bit of extra investment, possibly Caudwell.

Begging for money. How embarrassing. ;D
So.. They've got no money, they've already spent 6m of whatever meagre budget they've got (mostly on Moore who was shit last season) and they've lost 1 (possibly 2) of their best players.
So as things stand they've spent 6m and don't even have a squad as good as the one that finished with 2 points more than us last season.
To top it all there's still some clowns that think that they'll be mid table next season.

Maybe they're waiting for a response from the Bhatti Bros. (80's Wolves owners)

It does serve as a reminder that getting into the Premier League is the best "advertisememt" for a club whether it wants investors or not. Who'd have thougt Derby would attract a U.S. consortium after their nightmare season in the Prem?
Unless I'm mistaken, Peter Coates has said in recent years that he is always open to offers of new investment and all the publicity from promotion must surely have put us on the radar of someone?

Just offered my condoloncies on their site "Oh dear oh dear, sounds like the wheels are coming off already. 6m already spent and you're weaker now than you were last month. Sounds like you need one of Britains richest men with a passion for your club stepping in, just like we have. ;D ;D If you have no serious money to spend that'll be the bottom spot already filled then."

Fuck me, that didn't take much to get banned did it?
I only told em it couldn't happen to a nicer club if they went bust.
Like I give a shit.

It would seem the gloss is being taken off their promotion and the lure of Rio is beginning to wane, maybe the mind bending drugs Mowbrey was slipping into their energy drinks is wearing off now they’re not training anymore and they can actually see Rio de Smethwick for what it really is.
I wonder if Monica Lewinsky from the Birmingham mail saw that one coming in his afternoon teabag. I guess not he was too busy telling the world about his knowledge of unhappy Stoke players.

Peace knows that brazil need to increase their wage limit, but he is reluctant to do so, this has been the reason for the yo-yo ing of the last few seasons and he thinks the baggies faithful will not be impressed. So a new investor/ buyer is required to take the gamble he is unwilling to make.
