I don't see what these police men have to do with the G Floyd case. You've lost me there mate with that reply? I'm only saying, what are these idiots up to other than just causing trouble and attacking the police and their horses. It has nothing to do with honoring or remembering G Floyd.

Why aren't the conspiracy theorists blaming the government for the angry protesters attacking the police in London? It's a great opportunity for the government to exercise their powers after all and it's a good distraction from the complete mess they have made of everything so far.

Not much for the old bill.. But it seems to me if you are from an ethnic minority you are treated with a bit more patience.. Just to pacify them.. If it was football fans the edl striking miners you would have been batoned and shown no respect what so ever If you are native English in London you are an ethnic minority.

Here's Guardian writer Owen completely missing the point of why the horse was running. Followed up by Guardian writer Hannah... The police officer on the horse turned out to be a woman, so I'm really shocked that a Grauniad journalist misgendered her. Still, it's all about the lolz 😔 ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200606/88be5fb2b6e669c1e541954ed017189b.jpg)

Here's Guardian writer Owen completely missing the point of why the horse was running. Followed up by Guardian writer Hannah... Is there anything in the video to explain why, or even actually if the horse is running? As for Hannah Jane Parkinson ... she should be sacked immediately.

She seems totally deranged. I don't know how anyone watches that and thinks it's in any way amusing. I still read the Guardian despite the increasing number of nutters they seem to employ but it's getting harder to take a lot of its journalism seriously.

I still read the Guardian despite the increasing number of nutters they seem to employ but it's getting harder to take a lot of its journalism seriously. Strangely enough, she seems to write a lot about mental illness and could possibly be writing from personal experience, not that that excuses her Tweet. I'm not surprised she removed it, she was getting pelters (from left wingers too, it has to be said). As for The Grauniad, it's getting beyond parody. I half-expect Millie Tant from Viz to be given her own column soon 😎 ![](https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20200607/9d371eb2dc44abb8242215790a3be820.jpg)

I heard the words of the Bishop of Dover earlier this morning on the radio, here below courtesy of the BBC. www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52954305The Bishop of Dover, Rose Hudson-Wilkin, who is the Church of England's first female black bishop, told BBC Breakfast racism was killing people. She said the protests were necessary as "sadly the world pays no attention when we do not stand up". "Most people have responsibly weighed up the risk that they would be taking in order to stand up," she said.
"There has been a greater pandemic throughout the world that no one has seen or heard or actually stood up for in a real way. "And so people are thinking 'We're dying anyway, so we're going to stand up now.' "People are saying 'Enough is enough,'" she added, calling for a renewed social contract to address "systemic inequality". Have they weighed up the risk for those people they could potentially infect over the next week?

The fact that there's more discussion on here condemning the protests rather than the actual issue at hand just goes to show on what side a lot of posters' bread is buttered.

A lot of posters have said that things need to change, the protestors are doing the cause no favours so what's your point? You could've phrased this "some protestors", rather than "the protestors". I'm fairly sure not every single one was non-peaceful. Just as I'm fairly sure not every single copper is a racist. You're kind of making Graham's point for him ![::)](//storage.proboards.com/800541/images/cj7bsBj2jOTuEAUVaPt5.gif)

Nothing short of criminal damage and they should be prosecuted - what if somebody had been hurt and they had to go to hospital after being amongst hundreds of others - track and trace would have had a field day.

I’m all for statues like that being preserved in museums for people to see and understand history warts and all but not on the streets of a multi cultural city. I see the slave master in question was a Tory as well, no surprise there..... :-)
