Oh my God.. I've not been on this site for a long time but my mate whom I go to the game with has told me about Kev.. I can't believe it๐๐ฅ we worked together at the Coty General, him in the Laundry & me Maintenance.. we drank in Hanley in the Roman Candle and Market Tavern, and enjoyed many home & away games together.. we went to Paris & Luxembourg in 83/84 following England.. what times.. see him at the game to say hello, though I've been Ill for 15mths and missed many games.. This is terrible news for his family & friends,a truly top lad and will be sorely missed RIP Stokie ๐๐ฅ

Kev tragically passed away in the night to the dreaded Coronavirus after fighting a battle in hospital with it in his 50s He was a massive Stoke fan who travelled away on the train with his lad and could be seen on plentiful occasions Iโve known Kev since the early 80s and Iโm absolutely gutted and I know many on here will know of him .... Stoke and the lads he went with were a BIG part of his life and social scene RIP mate when this is over the first pint at the match is on you x For his family, I know times are really difficult at the moment but even if you cant donate, please share on your social media accounts www.gofundme.com/f/jtaazx-a-helping-hand?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link-tip&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet

Does anyone know if Kev had any other underlying conditions, I remember him always looking so well.....

Didn't know him but defiantly seen him about on trains at away games, really feel for the family and friends and my condolences to all of them.
Just shows no matter who you are how fit you think you are and healthy you think you are this virus can take anyone of us, anyone, so we have to be so vigilant in these uncertain times.

This guy looks like the guy who sits in front of me in Block 23 row 21/22, does he have a son about 13/14, brownish hair and glasses. If so, seemed a decent bloke, would regularly turn up just before/just on ko....got the impression he liked to eke out that last pint in the pub. RIP. Thoughts with his family at this godawful time.

R.I.P Kev. Knew him from the match for 40 years. Kev's dad worked with my Dad. Proper shocked yesterday along with the shock of Clarky last week. Had a beer many a time up Hanley in the 80s and 90s after the game. Tontine. Tavern. Leadbellys. My best memory though is Sheffield Utd away in the cup early eighties. We parked in the wrong place. He had this yellow van and at one point had to hide underneath it. Severely outnumbered we got chased everywhere in that area of Sheffield. It was funny though.

Just a great bloke I first met in the Roman Candle on most Saturday afternoons nearly 40 years ago.. Was always great in there out of football season.. Kev, Andy, Little Dave.. all Sneyd Green, Cobridge area..
Watched some utter rubbish with him home and away through the mad 80's and 90's.. always had half a smile on his face whatever was going on around.. A true gentleman and a true Stokie..
Always remembered Kev.. RIP pal..
