On the hunt for a replacement office/gaming chair to use. The current chair I have is some Chinese rip off of the Ikea Markus. Worked well at first but now doesn't keep air trapped after raising so will lower at random times. Obviously when I'm the middle of typing up a word doc or playing game that's a little bit of an inconvenience Does anyone have recommendations they could make that maybe they use on their setup? Not looking to spend a colossal amount of money though. Any suggestions welcome.

I would I'd be happy to go up to about £100 I know it's not a terrific amount, but I think I'm leaning more towards the executive office chair style than gaming, purely because they will be comfier and more ergonomic I suspect than a cheap gaming chair.

Ah fair enough, my latest one cost about 200 and I would recommend it. I play online poker for a living so a good chair is a necessity.

I did take a look at the GT Omega Elite but the price really did put me off it.

The main improvements on my previous is that the seat is made of mesh as opposed to cushion and it's way way comfier.

I’ll tab that one and keep an eye on it. Failing that, I’ll probably end up getting the IKEA Markus and replace my dodgy Chinese clone!
