The media are all writing off Stoke and Hull saying we will do a Derby but give West Brom every chance of staying up.
When you think they are losing their best player and top goalscorer from last season in Gera and Phillips, it's not exactly the best start is it. On top of that they have already had to take a 6m chunk out of their transfer budget on signing Bednar and Moore who they had on loan. That wouldn't be a forward line to make me confident if they were starting for Stoke next season.
When you take those factors into account, I wouldn't give them any better chance of staying up than us.

itsmorethan. I would not like there present forward line. Now lost there best ball player and there defence wasn't very clever in the championship.

I wouldn't give WBA more chance of staying up than us anyway. Stoke consistantly take points off them showing that they can't handle strength teams, and their passing game will be taken apart in the prem. They can only hope for points from teams like boro and Wigan really.
Shame though, Gera would have been a nice buy for stoke.

Agree bickstoke I dont understand why they arent being tipped for the drop. If they try and out football teams then most of the opposition will take them apart for the simple reason that they have players who can doit better than them. Whereas as with a solid backbone like ourselves we've got to have a fighting chance

to be honest i think it showed that the baggies attractive football exposed them to championship sides last season , hate to think actually i love to think how some of the premiership teams will show them up next season .
personally i think they will go straight back down as they lack the team effort and hard work that makes us the team we are .
i don't think it will be the most attractive football weve ever seen next season but at the end of the season when were still in the premiership we'll all be happy .

How can you say that we have a leaky defence when we conceded the same amount of goals as you?
Gera has gone but no WBA fan expected him to stay anyway, Phillips is now also set to stay.I think we have better striking options than Stoke anyway, and that £6mil you talk about is irrelevant seen as we have £10m coming in for Curtis Davies. Moore and Phillips have premier league experience and Bednar scored a lot of goals despite missing the first 2 months of the season and having a hernia for the last 2.
Finally why all the threads about West Brom, someone a bit jealous or worried for next season?

What do you mean "all the threads about West Brom?" I can see a grand total of one at the moment.
Edit: Two counting that one about investment. ;D

Appears that the baggies directors are worried even if their fans aren't The directors had an appeal for money out on the news tonight ...and it will be repeated in the charity slot on Sunday after Songs of Praise
