It’s passed over the last 3 nights and tonight is your last chance as it passes over at 7:44pm tonight ....watched it the last 2 nights and it fucking motors as it circles the earth in 90 mins usually heading east
It’s the second brightest spot in the sky but you’ll notice it as it moves at speed
If of course you are interested in that stuff 😊

I thought we could see it until early April Wez?
EDIT: Saw it myself last night. Was quite eerie though as i was out in the back garden but it was literally silent due to the "lockdown"; no sound of anyone talking, laughing or walking past, no traffic noise anywhere but a bright light moving overheard. Was like something out of a sci-fi movie

Or something quite biblical. "no sound of anyone talking, laughing or walking past, no traffic noise anywhere but a bright light moving overheard." Keep your eyes open for three wise men (adequatly spaced of course).

Unless they are all from the same family and are not showing any symptons of infection. I think, although the advice may have changed in the last ten minutes.

Which is perhaps a little worrying as since the beginning of time impressionable populations have traditionally believed that Comets are harbingers of doom.

I remember few years ago the ISS passing over the SW on Christmas Eve. It was bright clear evening and young kids were out in the street screaming as they saw Santa whizzing over to start his deliveries.

That it was plainly the ISS which is actually a far more interesting and exciting thing to see. Bah Humbug.

[/quote] No wonder they was turned away at the inn. If the landlord was following official guidance and instruction he should have been closed anyway. "I don't care who you say you are you're not coming in my pub!"

I had to laugh at the thought of it flying over The Man In Space

Fabulous. I posted your advice on my village Facebook group. I have been inundated with thanks and likes.
I got a little nervous when some wise guy said that I was 12 hrs out, and then there it was!! Exactly on time
God it moved fast.

Shot my self in the foot on my village page. Age old saying. Never ask a question unless you know the answer !
After a few drinks I asked the mums, Dads and kids; If it was over Staffordshire at 0745pm, Where was it 30 mins earlier, and where will it be 30 mins later ?
I know there are some pretty clever people on here. Come on Guys, help out a fellow Oatcaker or I am in SERIOUS TROUBLE.

We saw it again at 8:30 tonight, clearer and higher in the sky although it disappeared just after passing overhead.
