It's got everything, Labour, the Tories, corruption on steroids, the unions, the music, fashion, haircuts I could well recommend it to the under 40s as a snapshot of the seventies but as you say stuffed with great actors on top of their game with a great script. On of the best series I have seen on TV. I think I have watched it three times over the years. Where is it available to view now? I watched it on YouTube.

Just done Slasher on Netflix, plenty of gore and nasty kills. Each season is a different storyline. I'm currently three episodes into You, which is about a stalker but told from the stalker's POV. Seems promising so far.

The Wire. Possibly the finest programme I've seen in years. Not finished it yet. But, christ on a bike, it is absolutely superb.

Just finished binge watching all three episodes of “The Pembroke Murders”.
Available on ITV Hub, the series concluded this evening.
Excellent TV. ITV are also doing analysis of the case on the news and tomorrow; The accused appeared on Bulls Eye the TV show only a few weeks before the crime. A major piece of evidence in the trial.
Truth is often stranger than fiction.
Well worth watching. ⚓️

It’s a sin on c4 A story of AIDS in 80s london. It was good OTT stereotypes, gay man as very loud queen's, parents as homophobes But didn't matter as was done well

I don’t think it was stereotypical at all given the time period There was only one quiet gay character in the household I think some people still think gay men are predominantly highly camp. Whilst I think it's fair to say most highly camp men are gay (not all e.g. Lawrence Llewellyn Bowen, highly camp not gay) most gay men aren't highly camp. Also only one of the parents was anything but homophobic. It was good telly though. Some of the stuff I'm embarrassed to say I wasn't aware of such as being asked if you are homosexual when applying for a mortgage or that AIDS patients were locked up on wards

Some of the stuff I'm embarrassed to say I wasn't aware of such as being asked if you are homosexual when applying for a mortgage or that AIDS patients were locked up on wards I think it’s easy to say that through modern eyes. And it’s set in the gay scene of London so there is not much straight interaction in the series. That said parents today would be much more acceptance of gay now than back in 81. Not many parents then would be as supportive which is why I believe the gay scene back then was more camp. A way of expression and their own acceptance if you may. Plus many activities were illegal The world was terrified of aids back in the early 80s and so much disinformation or lack of knowledge was widely circulated If your Mrs has ever watched greys anatomy there is a brilliant flashback episode which details one of the first aids cases in the the early 80s

THE SERPENT. BBC I PLAYER. Well I have to say that is one of the best and most suspenseful series I have seen for some time. A true story that I could not stop watching. Eight episodes that I binge watched over three days, saving the last two to this evening. I am left feeling that I would like to research and find out more about this incredible sequence of events. A MUST see series. I was not certain if it was any good at first but you will soon be engrossed. Light weight 8 episodes over 3 nights, joking apart The Bay is good on ITV players

Anyone watched Succession? about 7 episodes into Season 1 and I love it. Sort of a hybrid between Billions and Veep in it's nature (more the former) hard to categorise it really but well worth a watch.

Hunters on Amazon, if it's not been mentioned already.
Pacino as a supporting character.
Very influenced by Tarantino in some aesthetic aspects in my opinion.
