Deffo Series 4 best of the lot Watched the first series and loved it, watched second series and it put me off watching the third. Heard good things about the fourth. Is there any great need to watch the third first? Blimey that sounds like a riddle🤣 Yes watch all of it order

Terminal List
a navy seal is the sole survivor of a failed mission but dark forces are at work. As long as you skip through the sickly sweet over-sentimental melodrama it's ok 6/10
Stranger Things 4 Best in the series for a while 8/10
The Old Man Jeff Bridges is great as an aging Rambo figure being hunted by his own side and an evil nemesis from his past 7/10
Dark Winds Set in the 70s on a Navaho reservation it started off well and drifted 6/10
West World Started where it left off last time 2 episodes in but 7/10 so far
Moonhaven Scifi set in the near future where we colonised the moon as a utopian dream but all is not well 6/10
Irma Vep A popular American actress moves to France to work on updating a silent movie classic from french cinema It's a dramedy, I have to say it's the strangest, most beguiling thing I've watched in a while. The main lead is superb (Alicia Vikander) 8/10
Severance In a future workplace staff can choose to have a chip implanted so they have no recollection of who they are outside of work and vice versa Excellent and thought provoking 9/10

Is there any great need to watch the third first? Blimey that sounds like a riddle🤣 Watch all of it in order otherwise you'll wonder who certain characters are. Although, even allowing for the series' internal logic, having the Russians build a massive underground base undetected in a town the US military would be watching closely (based on past events) is stretching it a bit. Got a definite 'Nightmare on Elm Street' vibe from the last 10 minutes of episode 1, and that's before Robert Englund's even turned up.

Severance In a future workplace staff can choose to have a chip implanted so they have no recollection of who they are outside of work and vice versa Excellent and thought provoking 9/10 Surely that's based on a true story? I've worked for some people who must think like that when they think you don't think they're a cunt outside work.

After watching Succession it's difficult to get into any other show as nothing has come remotely close to it.

I agree it's a similar type of show and close in terms of quality but there are a few characters on Billions that I don't find very interesting whereas on Succession I feel they all add something to the show.

Tin Star with Tim Roth.
Brilliant acting throughout. Beautifully shot. Superb soundtrack.
Unlike most these days it has a firm, three series and done format.
Oh, and I don’t find it hard to watch Genevie O’Riley.

Currently watching Orville on Disney +, funny in parts especially the Mr Poatato head scene, plus it stops the wife watching the Walking Dead, can’t stand zombie films as the 80’s films were dominated by friggin zombie this that and the other.

Watching Millennium on the BBC iPlayer, it's based on the excellent trilogy of books by Stieg Larsson that started with The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.
Really enjoying it.

It's bound to divide opinion Certainly intriguing House of the Dragon coming soon too, for any GOT fans Prefer GOT to LOTR as it's geared more for adults. Though I'll no doubt watch both. Did I just see that tit Lenny Henry in the LOTR trailer. WTF. Hopefully he gets killed off quickly. edit: Just checked and he's in all 8 fucking episodes. This isn't off to a good start.

I never had Lenny Henry down as a high fantasy actor (nothing to do with his race either, folks!) Paddy Considine's in it so we have hope.

Stranger Things 4 Episode 4 🤯
Absolutely knocking it out of the park after a below par season three. Darkest series by far.

Binged the first three episodes a few weeks ago but due to moving house I was without Sky/Broadband for a bit. But this series is fantastic television, a real love letter to 80s horror

Black Bird
A lovable rogue of a cocaine dealer is given jail time while his ailing father (Ray Liotta in his last role - who is excellent by the way) gets frailer by the day so he agrees to go undercover in a maximum security prison in order to befriend a serial killer in order to locate the sites of his burials in order to get out of jail free.
Based on a true story
2 episodes in and rather good

Just started FROM on Sky Atlantic- two episodes in and it's ok so far. Made by the makers of Lost.
The premise is the residents of a remote town can't leave said town and anyone who finds it become trapped there too. At night demonic creatures appear so the residents have to be on curfew to stop them getting in.
It's like a Stephen King plot but without the masses of backstory for each character

Started watching The Offer on Paramount+. Its about the making of The Godfather, its factual, about the interference of the Mafia (and Sinatra). Pretty good so far.
