The data has shown that throughout all this, children are not severely affected and there's not much evidence to suggestion that they spread the virus significantly. Cases are reducing. Deaths (median age 80) are dropping day after day and we are still wrapping our kids in cotton wool. It's ridiculous. It's thought that children pick up at least half a dozen bugs and viruses every year, mostly by interacting with each other. It's important that they do because it helps build a healthy immune system. Studies are even suggesting now that exposure to the common cold may even help in suppressing this coronavirus. And if anyone hasn't noticed, we've got a bit of a childhood obesity problem in this country. How anyone can think that we're helping our kids by keeping them cooped up and discouraging healthy childhood behaviour is beyond me. We've treated our elderly appallingly and our children arguably even worse.

In most cases I think world leaders are equally oblivious and technocrats have been running the show. Hence the involvement of world bodies, and the 'following the science' mantra. 'Excess' deaths all occurred after lockdown in the UK, and rose considerably. Disturbingly, I'm pretty certain the care home system has been used to increase this death count. And also how many have died as a result of the lockdown won't be made clear. The jury is still out on what actual level of excess death we will have. So just to be clear you are suggesting that care homes were deliberately seeded with Covid in order to kill off residents with the express purpose of inflating the mortality from the virus? If that is the case who is it that you are accusing of genocide? I suggest you really look into the use of DNR forms during this. And blanket DNR forms in care homes. I'm not sure how much Google is your friend anymore, but there is some stuff that's made it into the mainstream. 'dnr coronavirus' would be a basic start. Let's just add it to the long list of anomalies about the whole thing, shall we? But how much do we need before the covid 19 religion ceases to be as the BBC presents it? The rush to to label me a crank by some seems predetermine opinion. But an open mind might help. If folk want to continue with the idea that authorities always have their best interests at heart, that's their choice. I don't really want to burst their bubble.

I'd suggest it was a little more than cavalier. I ask again, why does truth require upward manipulation of statistics? If this is a deadly pandemic as we are told, why does it need sexing up? Are you happy that covid deaths can be determined by symptoms alone, and even a test that does not prove actual infection? Particularly when symptoms keep getting added and range from - absolutely no illness at all, to - err death? A pretty broad range of symptoms there, don't you think? I also suggest that, now we are out of the main respiratory illness season, the authorities have a quandary. More testing will drive the death rate down, as they are less able to throw in all respiratory deaths. And if the death rate goes down, it's difficult to maintain the fear levels that justify further control and eradication of basic human rights... What will happen next?

The principle beneficiaries of this are:- China - who will fill the gaps created by the economic carnage; Google/Apple - who will be given carte blanche to monitor the moves of every citizen world wide and ; Bill Gates who will get rich on the back of a vaccine for a virus that doesn't exist. All aided and abetted by the BBC?

I remember when mobile phones were going to give us all brain tumours. "You mustn't hold them next to your head, you'll give yourself a brain tumour". I'll have a little bet with you: in two years time, Covid19 will just be an unpleasant memory of 2020 and everyone will be quietly getting on with their lives just like they were in January this year. A few more people may well be working from home more regularly but apart from that bugger all of lasting significance will have changed, 5g will have been rolled out, most folk will just be enjoying the benefits this brings to their phone usage and you'll have moved onto the next global population control conspiracy theory.

That's an awful amount of legislation to remove!
But we'll see how fundamentally different people's lives are in two years...

But we'll see how fundamentally different people's lives are in two years... What about the catastrophic job losses and businesses going under, the 5 million currently awaiting medical care, the tourist sector...? The legislation was quickly approved, shouldn't be a problem to rollback completely. And whilst much of it remains in place then the control remains.

We'll see how fundamentally people's lives have changed in two years time. Fair enough. I'll summarise - these lockdowns and rules are unjustified, and ultimately more about control than health. Or maybe I am mistaken and the visor worn by a hairdresser with a one foot gap at the bottom is actually doing something...

Or maybe I am mistaken and the visor worn by a hairdresser with a one foot gap at the bottom is actually doing something... So what does our government stand to gain, by having a (perceived) greater amount of control of the public at large, in exchange for choosing (your inference) to crash it's economy? Why would they even do that (deliberately)? If this isn't about health but about control, then what does this greater amount of control give them, that makes it worth destroying their own country's economy? What makes it worth it?

I must admit I did laugh at the masks worn by hairdressers on the breakfast news this morning. If your hairdresser had covid they would be showering down neat corona virus all over you head as you sat in your chair.

Arizona opened up early "to save the economy!1" and now they're closing some things down again. My girlfriend's a medical resident there and is doing 7 days in a row of waking up at 4:30 am and finishing sometime between 8:30 and 11:30 pm.
It sucks.

Judging by the data and some of the graphs, it looks to me that some US states actually closed too early, then became complacent and didn't expect the virus to hit them as hard as other states.

medium.com/@vernunftundrichtigkeit/coronavirus-why-everyone-was-wrong-fce6db5ba809A very interesting article from a leading Swiss immunologist. If I've understood it correctly, he believes that people can fight off the virus because of a strong immune system but then test positive because of shattered dead virus particles. This maybe explains why people like Michael O'Neill and other asymptomatic people test positive (though he does believe that they have already displayed very mild cold like symptoms at some point).

medium.com/@vernunftundrichtigkeit/coronavirus-why-everyone-was-wrong-fce6db5ba809A very interesting article from a leading Swiss immunologist. The viral fragment bit is exactly what happened to symptomatic South Korean patients who toggled between positive then negative after symptom resolution, before ultimately testing negative for good after about 2 weeks or so. (just seen he mentions it) That cleared up that people couldn’t be acutely reinfected. It’s an interesting read but there’s a couple of points to be made: Ionnadis wasn’t just criticised for his paper because of the test being imprecise, he was criticised because he got basic stats wrong (since corrected) and didn’t pick out of a randomise population before making a whole population estimate for antibody presence and claimed it was a randomised sample. It turns out, people were allowed to self recruit on facebook and were encouraged too if they thought they once has symptoms. That factor was at first obscured. (It has since benn mentioned in the paper, along with a withdrawal of the whole population estimate) That’s a bit of an oversight in the article. Ionnadis being a heavyweight means fuck all, he was corrected on his stats by PhD students and rightly so, such was the magnitude of the error. That bit smacks a bit of backing up a friend to me. His critique of the whole genome similarity being ignored too is a bit weird, one of the very first papers on Covid directly compared it to other coronaviruses and the entire rational behind the Oxford vaccine was based on its similarity to MERS and SARS. They were talking about that straight off the bat and the the fact it was novel only in the sense of infecting humans. It’s a semantic argument. As is the WHO asymptomatic issue, they didn’t make it clear that because people forget mild symptoms that it was actually impossible to accurately assess who was truly asymptomatic the whole time. A harsher, but decent read. There will be more responses to it online I imagine that will also be worth a read too.
