With it being a lovely sunny Sunday morning, I have avoided my usual morning walk route as I suspect it is likely to get a bit busy and have stuck to doing laps of the field next to my flat. I am surprised that no one appears to have phoned the police to report an old git power walking around a field for 2 hours. I feel like a bloody hampster!! Thanks for that, Alli. As for China, they are considered an enemy of the West, but they have been part of the same global club since they were brought into the WTO. Movies programming people for this scenario? So presumably, in the future we can also now expect to be terrorised by 120 foot gorillas who climb the Empire State building, Orcs and trolls to take over our 5 kingdoms and for Aliens to invade shooting death rays out of their tripods yeah? Or do you just cherry pick 4 or 5 films out of the entire history of cinema to focus on because they fit your narrative? I don't know what's really going on, but I know viruses were always an intentional way of controlling people, hence all the movies programming people for this scenario. I had a text this morning from an acquiantance who is self isolating, who said that she is more or less surviving on eating porridge. I have pointed out to her that "doing porridge" is an old slang term for imprisonment. So she is now using the term porridge as an appropriate replacement term instead of self isolation.
