£1.3 billion has been put aside by the NHS to fund compensation claims for unnecessary deaths, undiagnosed or misdiagnosed illness directly due to the lockdown and restrictions on availability of health care. If that's not an admission of guilt I don't know what is. People like bayern need to wake up and smell the coffee. The hysterical overreaction to a POTENTIALLY deadly but LARGELY mild and totally recoverable disease has been disastrous and should never be repeated.

Bayern, its always been in a mess! It always will be in a mess! No it’s not always been this much of a mess. This whole it’s always been like this shite is sheer right wing propaganda to get people thinking things haven’t been better and to accept this shite. Well done for falling it. So youre acknowledging its been a mess in the past..... we got there in the end ! Nobodys falling for anything here, the whole country indicates and knows the whole thing is creeking so right wing propaganda doesnt even come into it. Just bringing it back on track to the subject, do you guys still have publice information service adverts for minimising, treating and stopping the spread of the virus....? The 'rijksoverheid' or government department responsible for health have just started a new campaign over here...... Just curious to see if anyone gives a toss anymore about it......

We used to have almost constant TV and radio adverts for it, but they disappeared a long time ago. Covid has been consigned to the usual seasonal virus catalogue with cold and flu - as it should be. Might see some generic winter protection advice and ask people to go to pharmacies for over counter relief rather than flood doctors. That’s been standard stuff over here forever.

Well done for falling it. Ah, the old right wing rhetoric again. It's all the right's fault. Even though we haven't had a remotely Conservative government running the UK in his lifetime. I'm not sure the likes of Bayern are familiar with the definition of right wing politics. Presumably he is going to vote for Keir Starmer who is arguably further to the right than the current centre left shite ruining the country. The only difference between the Tories and Labour are the former hide under the guise of Conservatism. - High taxes - Zero desire to tackle immigration - Green obsessed - State intervention obsessed - Handout obsessed - Lockdown obsessed (see above) - Supportive of wokery in all its forms - Anti business, anti economical prosperity - Anti Brexit - Zero leadership - Inability to define a woman I mean... Its hardly the epitome of a right wing government? A bunch of well to do liberals seized control of the Tory party years ago.

It appears next up on the media scaremongering agenda is Strep A/Scarlet Fever.
A daily death total really isn’t necessary or helpful for something that’s been going around forever.

The NHS did less work (treatments/GP visits/ops etc.) during the pandemic whilst spending more money. That includes accounting for vaccines and testing directly related to the pandemic.
Is it any wonder we’re seeing bad health outcomes now?

They don’t have to say it do they? Their actions show it. It’s becoming more privatised and being allowed to break. Bayern, its always been in a mess! It always will be in a mess! This just isn't true ...

A convenient way of shifting the blame of 38,000 excess deaths. Fuckwitty needs to realise most people won’t fall for his fear mongering again.

Good old Daily Mail 🤣 "Speaking at a press conference, Professor Whitty said that the quality of the air was a medical problem and reducing it would reduce a host of problems including heart disease, the risk of strokes and asthma in children."

www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2022/dec/20/avoid-covid-christmas-uk-government-helpThis chap is very disgruntled that the government isn't running a public health campaign and offering a 4th booster to the general population but luckily he has a few helpful tips to stay Covid free this Christmas: Wearing a well fitting, high-quality mask in situations where transmission is likely (such as when Christmas shopping or on public transport) can also substantially reduce your Covid risk. If you are hosting a Christmas get-together, try to improve the ventilation in the space by throwing open a window or two every so often. Fresh air is good, but you don’t have to have an arctic blast all the time. Even a small amount of ventilation can help to reduce the possibility of transmission. Given milder weather has returned, you may even think of braving an outdoor gathering.

EDIT: Seems there's more coming soon...
