Won’t watch it. Don’t care what they say. June 21st is when I take my life back and do exactly as I please.
Unfortunately a great many businesses will now go bust as a result of delaying until March 2022 (which make no mistake is what they really mean) and I can’t do anything about that.
The restrictions are now effectively permanent so everyone needs to decide if they are happy with that and if not, take your own action.

I think though that we’re finally going to get a large scale revolt, we are literally days away from normality and people will not stand for it being taken away this close to the end when there is absolutely no reason other than blatant fearmongering.

A lot of people are fed up mate but but a big revolt ?….No chance…we ain’t French. What will happen is the same as all the way through this shit is nothing…just bend over and take it. And if anyone does attempt to protest loudly Johnson will send his Stormtroopers in to crack a few heads. We are a lost country mate with a corrupt Government and spineless public.

We're here because Boris Johnson has made a very bad decision, no other reason than that. Starmer said India should be on the red list well before it was moved on there. The Delta variant accounts for 90%+ in the UK but only 2.5% of cases in Germany as of the end of May. The prevalence of the virus in India and our transport links mean he dropped the ball but I'm sure in a few hours he'll deny all of this and say there was nothing he could have done.

We were almost there, and the lack of action on banning travel to and from India was a scandal. Sheer incompetence......

I love the pictures of the G7 and like it's some conspiracy. Just look at any pictures from a lot of pubs showing the England games, people's gardens, the last Test. It's just the same

Yet again he dithered until it was too late and mayhem ensues. He is not fit to run the country…he is incompetent beyond belief and needs removing sooner rather than later because he will take us from one mess straight into another time and time again. It’s scandalous that he got anywhere near power let alone run the country…it makes my head hurt that people trust this clown.

The amount of people who are happy to carry on with more restrictions on their lives is fucking ridiculous.
After we saw the worlds leaders completely ripping the piss out of us all at the weekend as well.
We will be entering more restrictions later this afternoon, when that stupid fat bastard stands there, bumbling his way through another load of bullshit, and feeding the nation his crap, when it is he and his band of merry fuckwits who are the reason why we can't get back to normal.
Made me sick watching the cunts on the news over the weekend.

I haven't. People are being fannies. Grow up The ones that need to grow up are the ones that can't get over a sensible decision and took the 21st of June as "freedom day". It was never a given and to hold on to as such was always strange. All created by another government fuck up re India but the same people moaning will defend the cretin that allowed it until their last breath and that none of this is political. Tory incompetence again to the fore.

It's just the same Spectators at the test match were all tested before entering the ground, there was no social distancing enforced as a result. Test event. Also, everyone at the England match has either been jabbed twice or had a negative test to allow entry. Covid passport

You have the elderly (who often believe exactly what the government tell them) coupled with a lot of the left who bizarrely seem to be on board with restrictions for years on end. I can only assume a lot of it is due to furlough and an easy life the past year. Either way there is probably still a sizeable majority who'd happily be restricted until SAGE and other advisors give us the green light (i.e years down the line).

She is quite happy for these restrictions to carry on. I personally believe that people have got that used to it that it has become their norm and they, for some strange reason, are quite happy to carry on leading a miserable existence. Although being married to me has probably lead to that more than the Covid restrictions as far as my lady is concerned

My son has just been telling me that the company he works for had a discussion and vote for staff permanently working from home. It was decided that they all work from home permanently from now on…no more travelling to the office. So, after over 12 months of him working from home, it looks like my dining room is going to be his office from now on. He’s ok with it as it will save him a lot of money in fuel travelling to and from the office in the rush hour…approx 30 miles per day.

Sadly the downside is the businesses who depended on office staff now have no customers mate with only one outcome
