They don't seem concerned. The pandemic always been a WHOax. Of course, it begs the question, what are they jabbing you with? Let's hope it's a placebo... Untouchable

Do people actually go to nightclubs anymore and as for the football MON long term will pretty much decimate our crowds. I honestly don’t think I’ve been hard done to during lockdown whatsoever, how some people go on about it you’d think they’re in a Hollywood Blockbuster film where they’re sneaking out to avoid an evil dictatorship, being stopped at road blocks, dodging floodlights, using forged paperwork and being backed up by Steve McQueen, Charles Bronson, Richard Attenborough, James Garner and the bloke with the dodgy eye who plays in loads of war films. I'm convinced people of certain age don't go to night clubs because they are geared up for kids. I often look at some of these empty car showrooms like them at the bottom end of hanley, land-rover & jaguar and think, if somebody opened up a big night club for over 30's only playing their type of music it would be a massive success. We are not free, we can't just go on a pub crawl and get pissed up in a pub at several bars, you can't go to nightclubs, strip clubs are closed, it's not the same, not even close. Don't even mention a summer holiday You've got something there! Now after Covid there should be a lot of cheap big retail space available. Hmmmm, I think I'm going to draw up a business plan!

BBC reporting a 4 week delay to freedom day.
Johnson will have to have some sugar to offer with that medicine tomorrow so I presume there will be some minor concessions.
I'm just concerned that the country is being run my medics, who are saying, for example that we should continue to wear masks (forever?) to avoid the spread of other viruses.
At this rate we won't be allowed to die from anything! They may well be right, we could live forever, but without a single scintilla of enjoyment !

27 fucking degrees today, the Euros are on and we’re still expected to wear face coverings and not see all of our mates properly and there could possibly be a delay after two years of abject misery.
If you agree with this then fuck you, you’re a parasite.
It ends on the 21st.

Zero Covid strategy via the back door - which is what a lot of the scientists still want to aim for. At the end of the day our case and hospital rates won't be any better than this in 4 weeks so I don't know what the delay will achieve in that regard. Who knows what Bozza will say, but I've read he wont make any concessions as they believe it will confuse the messaging to the public. Wedding industry in particular was looking for a big break on the 21st

If we go for 'zero covid' then I fear we are forever to remain 1 metre apart. This mother fucking virus is here to stay!

Great to see GB News tonight laying into the absurd plan to delay lockdown.
If you're sick of pro lockdown, covid obsessed scare mongering lies from the bbc, Sky and ITV, get channel 515 on. Its truly heartening to finally see a TV news channel questioning covid bollocks.
Also very amusing watching Alan Sugar call Starmer a "nutter" 😂

Key to today is whether the delay is to the opening up day or the decision on when to open up day.
If it's the latter, well, nothing is decided.

If it was down to SAGE, we'd be opening up in a few years time. Autumn/Winter will definitely have an uptick in cases so if we have restrictions still by September, they'll be there to stay until this time next year.

Key to today is whether the delay is to the opening up day or the decision on when to open up day. If it's the latter, well, nothing us decided. He needs to be very specific about what we're waiting for. If its all the over 40s getting double jabbed then fine, there's an end date to that. If its some vague 'lets see', then it'll drag on for at least another year as if this variant evades the vaccine sufficiently to be a problem what exactly are we going to do? - wait 9 months whilst a 'booster jab' is developed and distributed?

I'm hoping for specific info too, there needs to be a hard target as to where we need to get to - as you say it could be the jabs etc. Doing that would give a bit of confidence in the government that we have an end goal, it would for me anyway. Most likely we will get the classic "need time to look at the data"

My bingo entry.. Regrettably.. we did say "no earlier than"..cautious, more transmissible ..delta.. following the science... irreversible return ..break the link .. weakened the link... last push allow younger people to be vaccinated
Excellent vaccine rollout .. millions numbers great effort. Greek mythology reference or obcsure latin phrase.
Whitty and Vallance next fear slide please.
In summary We are brilliant, vaccine rollout excellent they are working but we stay closed. Then come August extend Coronavirus Act in Sept to March 2022.
