The media can seriously fuck off. This variant bollocks being wheeled out again as numbers drop again. Since they told us about the South African variant itās taken over the uk and killed thousands more... oh wait, no it didnāt Weāre blatantly being lied to and have been since the start. Iām not sure about lied to, but certainly mislead and unnecessarily scared. Why not just use honest ātacticsā or information to get the public to adhere to rules. Why scare those already doing their best, the ones breaking rules donāt give a shit, so scaring them aināt the right approach.

Hardly any mention of the Brazil variant so far, which I am astonished about.

There is plenty of time yet for lots of new variants...just wait and see. The Government are crapping themselves now the weather is getting better and the numbers are going in the right direction. They will drag all this shit on for months yet...they donāt want us out and about until June when the big world leaders meeting is due in Cornwall. Then they can say to all these leaders ā look how well weāve done...everyone is out and about...arenāt we greatā.

What an absolute shocker, families out for walks and kids doing what they should be doing - playing outside. What on earth have some people become in this country over this, mind-blowing! One thing I've taken away from Covid, the great British spirit is a distant memory from a bygone era

How can we justify not opening up indoor hospitality until May based on the current figures?
We are going to be at 150 daily deaths this week, 100 the week after that and 60-70 the week after that.
By the end of March there'll be hardly anyone in hospital and we'll still be in effective lockdown for another month.

Conveniently, there hasn't been an update on the Gov dashboard since the 25th Feb, for how many people are still in hospital. It was dropping at around 1k per day, so would probably be somewhere around 10k by now

In 3 weeks Boris announces "our amazing vaccination programme and the incredible work of my government means I'm delighted to say our great pubs and restaurants will reopen in their entirety on April 12th". All of a sudden he's a hero with the masses. Smart stuff if you ask me.

Stoke on Trent Live reported, only yesterday, that cases in SoT and Newcastle have risen. They're full of shit. Stoke-on-Trent is currently on 130 cases per 100,000 (after stubbornly being stuck around 150 for much of the last week). Newcastle is 88/100,000 and Staffs Moorlands is 72/100,000. coviddatashare.s3-eu-west-1.amazonaws.com/TableCumulative_20210301.html

Stoke on Trent Live reported, only yesterday, that cases in SoT and Newcastle have risen. Disgusting rag ran by gutter press cockwombles that couldnāt even proofread their own name if it leaped off the page and punted them in the spuds. Them, the bollocks stories they come up with that only ever paint Stoke in a bad light and rile people up, along with the dreary, lifeless bellends that comment on their posts on Facebook wanting everyone arrested for visiting the park can all die in a violent fire.

Oi donāt slag off our local institution. I was most interested to read about the āStokie mum of 4 still waiting for Ā£36 compensation after a carpet fitter walked through the house with his muddy boots onā. This is absolutely essential journalism!
