Are they taking advantage of the old folks hour at the start of the day? Word is they are about to be banished to their homes for 4 long months while the rest of us catch the virus in a managed way and build up some societal immunity. Must admit if I thought I was about to be homebound for months then I'd get a few things in. They'd look even thicker if they rocked up at 3pm by which time the store will be no doubt be empty :-) Looking thick by all standing within a foot of each other, chatting for half an hour, waiting for it to open so they can panic buy ground nutmeg. Survival of the thickest. This has got to be one of the most ignorant posts I’ve seen on here. Wow.

I’m not concerned about panic buying, there’s no need to queue up outside a shop before it opens with 100 other people if you’re vulnerable. Nobody will be told they can’t go and buy food during any of this.

He's probably got a cupboard full of bog roll and paracetamol at home and thinks he's a genius.

Just got a call from the editor of the Mail - if you can make him gay, Muslim and a Labour voter then he's ready to publish. Todays's banner headline was a cracker. "SCHOOLS CLOSE, DEATHS UP, ARMY ON ALERT, SHOPS TO START RATIONING". Who needs an hour of meditation when you've got the equivalent of mindfulness in a chip paper in the form of the good old Daily Mail. Indeed. Reassuringly, the Express went with "COVID SOURCE WAS MI5 BOTCHED PLOT TO MURDER DIANA".

I couldn't tell if you were objecting to them for being over 70, going shopping or getting up before you in the morning:-)

I’m looking at about 100 over 70’s queuing up outside m&s wolstanton waiting for it to open. Thick twats. And if they have no-one else to do theur shopping for then what are they supposed to do? Wait until later when everything had gone and make taking the risk totally pointless?

Despite Hackets posts generally people under 50 on the whole should get through this in one piece. We need to support the elderly not heckle them. Over half of all hospital admissions for Covid 19 in the US have been in the 25-54 age group. Please don't anyone be complacent and think this is just going to be a disease for the owd folk.

Good point it’s generally the elderly and people with underlying health conditions. Apologies should have added that.

If you needed this quote to work out this is how they feel about people and work I’m sorry. For some people they agree with this ploy, others feel strongly against it but surely everyone knew this was part of their core values. Burnside obviously not saying you fall either side and thank you for sharing. I just hope no one is surprised.

They might want to offer a universal income before people decide to become 'self employed looters'
Good money and the hours suit many just fine

This partial lockdown is obviously too confusing.
We are either in lockdown or we aren’t.
The govt can act from tonight to close all but essential businesses and can use the army to oversee supermarkets.
Mother’s Day really worries me. Loads of places still advertising lunches. The advert might as well say; ‘Give grandma the coronavirus this Mother’s Day’

I saw that tweet last night mate, honestly if they could actually do the unthinkable and reconcile for a one off charity gig, that would be mega.
Too many burnt bridges nowadays though, and it won't be long before Liam starts calling Noel a potato or a cunt on Twitter.
