Do you have to have other jabs too being more vulnerable to diseases than most people? No mate Have you noticed the number of people with flu is much lower than normal in your personal experience? You will likely know better than most and will obviously be able to tell the difference between Flu and other diseases.

It absolutely isn't about playing around with the minutiae of the numbers at all. I find it extremely hard to believe that you cannot see, that if we're going to have a grown up discussion about the options available going forwards, then it is absolutely fundamental for us to furnish ourselves with the answers to the questions I have posted. To do anything else, is to simply shove your fingers in your ears and shout "la, la, la, I'm not listening and I don't even want to know." Its reasonable to assume that the answers to your questions must be known Paul. If not it's an act of gross negligence on behalf of SAGE the ONS. They must know the importance of the questions you raise. If they are available we genuinely have to ask why they are not in the public domain. There could only be one excuse namely that they cast sufficient doubt in the publics mind on the policy the Government is pursuing. I think any confidence in the data being produced by the Government disappeared long time back. That is pretty obvious. There are all kind of theories bouncing around why they are deliberately hiding/distorting data and that is the dangerous territory we are in.

Still think it's all about health? Let's all clap for this: And timed nicely. Isn't it super that these elites see what many of you consider to be a deadly pandemic as an opportunity? Flu has now virtually disappeared worldwide due to 'rebranding'. Every single aspect of this covid story doesn't stand up to scrutiny. Falsified death figures due to "deaths within 28 days of positive test", regardless of cause of death. Falsified "cases" due to PCR test. Falsified hospitilisations due to testing everyone who enters, regardless of reason & counting a "positive" as a "Covid" hospitilisation. So flu has been around a millennia but magically disappeared in 2020, exactly in the year of the covid narrative? I guess it's another coincidences and contradictions amongst many that proves nothing... If you still think we have all of these positive Covid cases and Covid deaths, maybe I have misjudged the audience as CWFHSMJFDQKFB says. When is conspiracy no longer a theory Do you not think that with most people keeping distance from everybody, pubs shutting early, cinemas closed or virtually empty in most places, the majority of elderly are staying in or keeping away from younger members of their family, that it's not actually spreading as quickly as it normally would, and the main flu season is normally December to March with only small outbreaks form October to December ? People aren't behaving like they normally did for the last god knows how many years, no major sporting events, no attendances at football, rugby matches, hardly any amateur races going on, no parkruns every Saturday, trains virtually empty around the country, it's transmission route has been severely taken out, it's not hard to work that one out is it ?

Viral load is proven to affect flu too so masks would impact it's ability to spread and it's also not as infectious as Covid is. It makes sense that numbers are low but why not ask professionals rather than trust a random post off Facebook or Twitter. It makes no sense to keep trusting random people clearly with agenda's.

There is no voice other than individual scientists not affiliated, limited journos labelled anti vaxx or conspiracy theorists. I don't agree with the strategy but it does exist and always has. The level of information control has hit new heights compared with previous times and we should be worried on two major counts. The impacts of the policy are directly affecting every single one of us in a real way, civil liberties, livelihoods and health outcomes for non Covid conditions. This isn't a distant issue. History has tought us that each of the examples cited above turned out to be flawed in several respects some more so than others. The problem here is that this deliberate suppression of debate will set the tone for years to come. It is difficult to imagine a post Covid world where it will not continue at pace. Leaders in Stoke On Trent now saying a Tier 3 is highly likely unless things dramatically improve over half term.
Have the government laid out their plans for Tier 2 and 3 areas yet in regards to exit strategies and suchlike?

Based on the answers that were given at the last PMQs nothing is defined and they were saying that it’s a combination of metrics without being able to say what they are. The MPs looked entirely convinced that this was the right approach without realising how stupid it was making them look and sound.

Yet you continue to ignore this because it doesn't fit your agenda. I get the feeling that valuable posting from the likes of ESOF has completely dropped off due to the flooding of this thread of the conspiracy bollocks. It really is a shame as without it, the discussions that go on here are fantastic.

It's also insulting - I'm perfectly capable of weighing up conflicting information and I don't need the government telling me what I should or should not read. The government shouldn't be sifting truth and bullshit for us - it should be giving us the skills to to do it ourselves. Just presenting one sided arguments stops people thinking for themselves and prevents them from developing the skills to differentiate between stuff that might be true from stuff that's almost certainly false - which is where the real danger lies.

If anyone is interested you should read about the proven psychological phenomena the "Illusory Truth Effect" It's a concern for me that we have a whole generation growing up who have zero confidence in what comes their way from Government. In such an environment, where those in power mess with facts and truths so freely, folk inevitably look for alternative explanations outside of conventional politics and some of them worry me. Look at the States! The argument that Govt's have always been manipulative doesn't cut it for me in the context of a global pandemic.

Ignoring the WHO's advice about lockdowns and the fact that epidemics are classified as such at 400 cases per 100,000. Putting the city they're supposed to represent in Tier 2 so quickly always ran a risk of this happening. Idiots.

Governments have never been open and everything released supports an agenda ESOF fully explained it about 100 or so pages full of conspiracy BS, ago. There is no mass testing of flu, the data is accepted as modelling and an estimate which is even higher than the likely figure. However, the pneumonia and flu combination data is labelled as "flu", providing the misconception that flu is the main contributor, when it is actually pneumonia. The numbers are still there and only now are people scrutinising the data and pulling our Flu numbers separately. I am pretty sure the ONS even lables them "Flu & Pneumonia" if I am not mistaken?

Stealth country wide lock down is on the cards. Regions will gradually be moved up the tiers (with extra tiers added) and a vaccine will be dangled close enough in an attempt to get people to comply.

Whether you believe we were in or currently in a deadly pandemic will soon become irrelevant.
It seems there is intention from those holding sway that life is not going to return to how it was before. In fact, an entire transformation is underway. With no consent from the people. And, currently, the middle classes are the target, as they have often been.
The BBC and others seem afraid to directly address these questions with our elected officials. There is an agenda underway, and what is currently happening is ticking off the processes required.

Anyway...
New decree in Italy:
Gyms and Swimming Pools closed for the foreseeable.
Cinemas and theatres all closed for the foreseeable.
Skiing season is effectively cancelled.
All bars and restaurants to be closed after 18:00.
Curfew from 23:00 - 06:00 (Already was this a week back)
No establishment can sell any alcohol after 18:00 (supermarkets and takeaways included)
Facemasks everywhere, including outside. €3000 fine for not adhering.
Regional travel allowed but strongly recommended against and likely that will be banned in the next decree if the numbers continue to rise.
I guess the world over is 'in on the act'. Pfft

Its no good mate, I've given up trying now. Just let them get on with it, it's not worth the hassle. I doubt the penny will even drop with some when the Welsh are enjoying the festive period because they've taken the necessary action whilst we're in full lockdown because we've been skirting around the issue for weeks with useless restrictions that only delay the inevitable. What you mean is you don’t like people not agreeing with you ....even when many have told you how the hospital numbers are counted and many about to lose their jobs, businesses and homes you continue to not give a fuck about them instead seeing them go through hell on the basis of “ could happen” or “ may happen” unlike many on here who do care about them and see the bigger picture Perhaps a public discussion forum is not the place for you I have asked people several times how many deaths of covid per day are acceptable before we go into a full lockdown. Nobody ever answers the question. Go on give me a number...
