And unfortunately it will only get worse people are scared more for their future than of the virus.

Newspapers absorb the virus, can you provide a link to the evidence behind that? Just an assumption, paper tends to absorb moisture. I might be wrong but that's just how I view it. You might not pick up enough viral load off touching a card or anything but who knows. Well thank fuck we have masks that are not made of paper, wow could you imagine how useless these things would be right next to a moist body entry, it would almost be like a Covid magnate.... thank fuck we don’t have to wear them

And unfortunately it will only get worse people are scared more for their future than of the virus. So on the same day it’s revealed that doctors have had to choose between patients for survival this lot do the opposite of their intent they give unequivocal proof the British public need a vociferously enforced total lockdown for A minimum 30 days or we just give up with the lowest common denominator of the British public they’re is no middle ground .

I'm worried about their welfare primarily of course and who they have been in contact with. Four generations in my family. What a weird mindset you've got.

Mate I know exactly how you are feeling as my daughter and son in law tested positive last Wednesday,at the moment fortunately they’re not too serious although the son in law’s cough is horrendous and he says he feels like someone is pressing down on his chest and burning also. The daughter has a cough and aches but hopefully that’s it. A very worrying time for families and how anyone cannot take this seriously is beyond me

That's your opinion. I'm certainly not clever enough to argue against scientific and academic evidence. I'm certainly not clever enough to argue against conspiracy theories. So I probably base my knowledge base on stuff I see on the good old BBC, ITV and SKY Coupled with some random surfing. If I've been brainwashed by this lot then so be it.

Casedemic Not complicated downright draconian 'casedemic' isn't even a word, it was cooked up by the alt-covid movement in the summer when we appeared to have the virus in our grasp after a well observed lockdown but no one uses it anymore since it looks laughable given the number of dead bodies getting served up, which will increase massively over the coming weeks.

I agree with the overall sentiment. Apart from the assertion over deaths tbh.

I hope you are right on deaths but while infections may be falling among returning students they are increasing in all the vulnerable age groups and wave 2 is barely out of first gear in many of the more populated areas in London and the South. Not withstanding the present Tier 3 restrictions there must be at least 4 more weeks of trouble locked in already in the great conurbations of the North. I can see wave 2 hitting 500 deaths a day comfortably. I know that won't satisfy some people and it doesn't really matter since they are mostly older folks but would still be 10 Hillsborough's a day, not to be sniffed at. Truth is until we get on top of the virus the economy will never properly recover nor will other services properly resume in the NHS.
