I reckon we are in for a hiding tonight. Fingers crossed I'm wrong. H Real ray of sunshine you are, at the mo' H! I think we could sneak it, having learnt some harsh lessons at Derby and QPR. Let's hope you are right. Unfortunately our club doesn't learn lessons very well. H

It might well be the teams that were higher up that we'll be needing to finish above.

Tykes winning is almost okay as it drops Hull into trouble some more, and they are on a terrible run after selling their best players in January. Hull and Reading are well and truly in this relegation scrap. More than a third of the league are in it. Weird year so far.

I don't think I've ever seen a viagra advertisement on the boardings at a football game before. The Newcatle fan who did that bizarre helicopter celebration ironically had a Viagra ad below him if you look at the pics

Tight game. Think we’ve done ok against a decent and in form team.

Not a bad half. Weathered somewhat of an early storm but have been very comfortable since.
Lacking quality in the attacking third, could do with getting Powell on the ball a bit more.
Definitely 3 points up for grabs from this one.

Not a bad half at all after an early scare.
One crumb of comfort with Wigan and Barnsley winning is that Hull and Reading seem to be imploding.

Luton and Barnsley are like them big cockroaches you try and swat with a flipflop. The feckers just won't lie down and die.

It brings more teams in to it. Not necessarily a bad thing. We need to win our own games rather than look to others. I don't subscribe to that. Far better for the bottom 3 to crash and burn so we can edge ourselves away in relative comfort. We need the biggest gap possible to third bottom and the teams below losing is the easiest way to achieve that. Oh well, the hard way it is.

Worst possible week results wise. Still can't be bothered to worry about games we can't affect. Concentrate on winning our games and then it won't matter about the others. Fatalistic maybe but saves on the finger nails and blood pressure

Why can’t Wigan just fucking die.
The most pointless club in English football.
Fuck off Wigan you bunch of hunchbacked wurzels.

Last 3rd a bit too slow and too many high balls. Keep it on the deck and we can cause a few probs second half. One of those game I fear has a 1-0 loss written all over it but my predictions usually way off the mark

Hull have had 1 shot on goal compared to Barnsley's 14. That mad git there is playing an effing diamond too. Wigan have had 10 shots compared to 0 from Reading. Looks like Hull and Reading are as bad as their recent form suggests.

Hull, Boro, Charlton, Udders and even Reading could get caught by some or all of the bottom three. There are several teams in the mix and we are playing better than most of them right now.
