Since the Leeds debacle Chester has started 8 games and we've conceded 4 goals. I personally wouldn't have signed him but it's just more hyperbole....... He’s still looked like a crap defender. The bloke can’t win headers. And indeed we look like a much better team when he’s out of it. And also with how negative we’ve been we should be keeping clean sheets. Playing a 3-5-2 doesn't automatically give teams clean sheet after clean sheet, it has plenty to do with what goes on in training or the performance of the team when defending.......

It's a cop out to hide behind a formation. It's a factor but it doesn't give a player a free ride, he didn't have a 68% pass success rate because we played a 3-5-2 he had it because his passing was way below hat he's capable of..... It’s not a cop out. He’s a number 10 being played out of position and being asked to do too much. The biggest limitation to him at the moment is this formation and the amount of work expected of him in it.

No but playing with little freedom of expression and so negatively does. We got out not to lose not to win.

A player with the talent Powell has should be doing better regardless of if he’s playing 10-15 yards deeper. I think the chopping and changing doesn’t help and I think Powell is quality but he is underperforming and his attitude at times is questionable.

His attitude since joining has never been questionable. He gets the shit kicked out of him each and just cracks on with it. And no he shouldn’t. He’s being asked to do things that don’t suit him. If he was doing less running he’d be fresher for when we actually need him.

I think he’ll be on the bench today with Gregory and Fletcher up front. (Campbell obviously not Powell)

It’s a waste of your best attacking player.

I would like to see Campbell starting, personally, he is the most skillfull striker we have by a distance .. well I say that but Fletcher is no slouch either. I have to also add that as things stand I trust MoN too and he's choosing to start Vokes instead so I can only assume it's a physical presence thing. A conundrum is occurring it seems. Hopefully O'Neill isn't adversely affecting Campbell's desire or belief with his decision.

He’s barely conceded a goal so you haven’t had the chance...yet. So why lie and make stuff up then you idiot 😂🤦♂️ I’ve just looked back and you blamed him for the first goal against Bristol City. It wasn’t his fault, but you just couldn’t wait to stick the boot in with premeditated criticism... fool.

It’s a waste of your best attacking player. I'm sorry I can't have that as a legit excuse. He was giving the ball away frequently on Thursday in the first half playing in an attacking position. Tiredness doesn't come into it and I think you're letting him off the hook, which is your prerogative which is fine.

I think it’s a big issue as it goes. And I want more from this team because they can offer so much more if used correctly. Powell isn’t being used correctly.

Agree formation suits us away at times albeit Preston got at it with 11 men but it’s not working at home at all you’ve only to look at goals scored or not scores to see that .
