Martin Keown has got to be the worst surely? Michael Owen for me is the worst, his monotone ramblings bore me rigid. It's like he's commenting about a traffic jam.

Does anyone like any pundits ever? The post is about a co-commenting and in a televised game where you can see what's going on for the most part I don't think the particularly add anything to what the lead commentator has said (apart from annoyance). A good one - Lee Dixon for example - can enhance the experience of a radio commentary. Like Nige describing the GKs strip colours in detail?

JJ is surely being groomed as the next MOTD presenter when Gary Lineker finally hangs up his joke book. I read it somewhere that Lineker will do next season then leave (probably cash in on another channel as the government get rid of the bbc) and JJ will take over. Lineker is excellent as a presenter. I would like to see Crouch take over that role. I think he would be an excellent presenter. In terms of pundits, Carragher, Neville, Souness, Scott, Aluko (particularly her written analysis) are all good. Shearer is improving. I like Savage as well even. I don’t often agree with many pundits but I prefer the ones with strong opinions rather than Murphy or Jenas Often pundits take time to become good, Shearer was awful at the start but has improved massively. I remember hating Mark Lawrenson at the start, but he became very good (with crap jokes). Less pundits more action please

You tend to find if a pundit praises your team they are fantastic. If they criticise your team they are complete wank bastards..... however valid the aforementioned criticism may be.
