That was bad. Not the first half hour obvs, but they're a mid-table side at best and we were just completely bloody overrun. Where's the steel, where are the robust routines from the training ground, and looking at the stats where are the fouls? If you want to see a game SCFC have genuinely dominated in the MoN era, check the fouls column. We need to be ahead every time because, frankly, we're not consistently good enough to win games clean and right now, no problem with that. And we're slipping back to a relegation form GD.
As for Mick today I felt like either he had no Plan B or made all the wrong moves implementing it. If today was a battle of minds Mark Warburton pissed it. One so-so day at the office and this bad one = roll on next week. Please.

2- An absolute shower of shit and if MON is such a straight talker then he will say how awful of a performance that was

Decent looking starting eleven and two lovely goals to put us in the lead but I don't think I have seen a more leaky Stoke defence. There is no mystery to scoring against us - attack in numbers and you are in with a good chance. Earlier in the season we were conceding goals from one daft mistake by 1 player. Today 2 or 3 players were switching off at the same time. We invited QPR to score once we went 2 up. Very disappointed at what I saw.
As well as finding some players who can defend as a unit, MON also needs to find someone who can take a decent free kick or a corner. It is embarrassing how little we create from dead ball situations - or even throw ins for that matter. Verlinden and Edwards scored great goals from free kicks in the U23s the other day. Obviously Verlinden is now injured but could Edwards do any worse on the right wing than Ince is doing in most games? And, hopefully, he might rediscover his mojo when it comes to crosses and dead ball kicks. Got to be worth a try surely.
5 from me - I won't give less because we did attack well in the first half hour.

Yep a 3 from me. If not for the goals then it would have been -5 simply for picking show pony Ince. Has N'Goy actually got a first touch ability?

The next test for him is how he responds with next weeks team selection
Brave enough to drop Butland? to be fair Jones was
Would giving Collins a chance be a positive move with so much as stake?
Maybe look again at Lindsay and Tymon ?? - although I believe we conceded goal from the right side of our defence

4 from me. I had hoped for better but it’s clear we’ve lost the impetus we had and that win at Huddersfield on New Year’s Day seems light years way now. Biggest mistake for me he’s made his playing James Chester for 3 games in a week where we have conceded seven goals. He had hardly played for Villa after coming back from injury and it shows. Collins must start next week. Don’t see any alternative to Baath unfortunately but I don’t know what Lindsey did to deserve dropping he had started to pick up on his confidence until the Derby debacle

4, Playing Thompson on the left didn't work at all, clearly not a winger, Allen needs dropping badly, and his subs did absolutely nothing to change the game, Vokes with the same out come over and over again.

He started a much better squad than most were expecting, and they all (apart from Powell and Campbell) contrived to have bad games at the same time. The same team (minus Thompson at left wing) could easily turn over a side in the next game, so I can’t be too harsh on his selection. -1
He took off Allen and Thompson, who were on this occasion contributing the least. +1
Deployed N’goy +1
I think his decisions were mostly reasonable even if the outcome was less than favorable.

Any manager, or board of directors for that matter, who persists in playing that waste of space, Tom Ince and didn't recognise that a real left back and a quality wide player (Thompson isn't) were absolutely crucial in the January window, deserves everything he gets. We start every game with two massive holes. It's a frigging shambles. Defensively awful but our problems go much wider and deeper than that. A complete mess of a club as it stands from top to bottom. A 3 from me, purely for the first 30 minutes or so. The totally ineffective second half performance speaks volumes for the lack of motivation and commitment from the players. Something major has to change, starting with at least 5 playing changes for next week, even if it means playing a couple of youngsters. Good job you feel we had a good January Mr Scholes, just a pity that every other month in the last three years has been awful.

2-0 up against a side that had not scored for 3 games and in free-fall with 4 defeats and 1 draw in the last 5 - is a big fat 0 from me.
Nature of the defeats are the most worrying thing. We could and should have conceded more than the 4, any team with a modicum of pace who press the ball and we are truly fecked.
Liked the Chester signing and knew he would be ring rusty, but he looks a tad overweight and out of condition, can we afford to give him time - hopefully he is not on one of those contracts where he must play if fit.
As stated, the nature of our last 3 defeats are worrying and worse than anything NJ served up.
The manager/team have been found out and time to see if the inexperienced MO can earn his money and change things round a little, he has very little to play with especially in defensive areas, but maybe back to Lindsay/Batth in the centre of defence as at least they were forming a decent partnership.
Any other area of the park is irrelevant if we continue to defend like that.
We need our captain - where the feck is he

Very hard to rate when he was let down so badly by a group of footballers that should know and do better. It's games like these where you end up rating the result and not the manager.
After this performance, it will become easier to judge his own personal reaction to it, who he keeps in the side and who he gets rid of - within the confines of his squad.

Should have cleared the second on the edge of our box but half arsed scissor kick gave the ball back and they cMe starigh in to score. Should have took Ince off instead of thompson as i thought he was just beginning to create and get crosses in, and ngoy should have played straight down middle. I like clucas but tell him he cant play backwards ever and i think he would creat more.

Dave F, he can't win whatever he does, if he had gone more defensive and we had crumbled he would have been criticised!!. At 2 - 0 and playing with fluency, I fully expected us to push on and get more.

2 - two up but can't change tactics to see out a game. Clueless. It was 2-2 within 8 minutes of Campbell putting us 2 up. Nothing to do with tactics and everything to do with players incapable or unwilling to do their jobs.

It’s just about inexperience at this level it’s the same concern some expressed at the time His first window has been awful Sending the squad team and results backwards since it finished .
His understanding of what physicality and ability required to make a difference at this level often exposed see Thomson .
None of those added have added anything and those who left have improved others .
He’s a lot to learn and it’s a huge risk in the situation that he will Do so in time .
Bit regardless he’s not the core Issue culpable to a degree if we go done yes , a hero if we don’t probably ,but not the Cause of relegation that sits firmly at the door of the one paid to run the business
