From the remaining games🤔 Home Charlton Preston Cardiff Hull Middlesboro Barnsley Birmingham Brentford
Away QPR Blackburn Luton Reading Wigan Leeds Bristol City Forest
Looking at the fixtures left I’d suggest we need points sooner rather than later because the final home game and the last 3 away games look difficult on paper.

Win all of them and make a late push for promotion.

You really can't predict in this league. You could take points when not expecting to, plus drop points when you don't expect to.
We could beat Leeds and lose to Wigan.

Enough games there. Would expect at least twenty points from that.

Continue the current form under MON and we should hit 26 more points

Average points needed to stay up over the last decade is 44. One mental season three years ago was 51, down to 41 last season and the one prior to that.

Win 4 of 8 at home (12), 2 away wins (6) and 3 draws (3) gets us 21 points.

More relevant, can you see the bottom 3 getting more points than us from the remaining games. Can't see it myself. We are going to be fine.

I've no doubt we'll be fine.
Chester will come in for lindsay and immediately improve us.
Shawcross for Batth soon. Campbell will be fit again soon.
Survival will be a great achievement for O'Neill.

I’ll stick my neck on the line and say we will pick up more points away than at home. I think we will comfortably finish mid table.. Plus I’m also stupid and crap at predictions

15pts home 6pts away 21pts Our current home form is still around 66%, which is around 15 points from the remainder. We should pick up some further away points, 6 doesn't sound unreasonable. We MUST win our 6 pointers however. Luton, Charlton etc we must bring our A+ game to the table.

If we can't muster 19 points from that lot we fully deserve to be relegated. It's that simple.

Who predicted 6 points from West Brom and Swansea ? They'll come from the games we get points in I guess and plenty to be had. We are averaging over 1.5 points a game

The key is how many of the games we win (or lose) against the teams around us, because they are all effectively worth six points. Home losses are especially damaging, because of the psychological impact.

This is actually a real league: Anybody beats anybody. Its not the big one which is actually three leagues, top 4, top 6, perm 3 from 8 to go down, try a grab a cup.
Coming soon Prem One and Prem Two.
Very slowly, very, very slowly, this becomes a game I enjoy less and less.

I mean, it’s a sitar not a 3 string cigar box git but he seems to be a calming influence. Football play good Stoke yes?... Coming....
