Love Matt Berry, but never seen that character before. The dogs sketch was hilario!

She's ADORABLE! If only all little girls were that sweet. Some of the 'little friends' I had when I was that age (one in particular) were nothing short of satanic - I kid you not. Still bear the scars!

Had to give this a bump having just watched this clip again. The way this builds & builds, right upto the final line is a masterpiece!

That’s Rowan Atkinson doing a very passable impression of Sid Waddell 👍😄 It took a few years, but after this sketch was endlessly pulled out as a funny portrayal of boozy darts players, the BDO decided to ban drinks on stage during matches

I think it's safe to say that this thread won't be featuring any clips from The Emily Atack Show.... ITV2 is the televisual equivalent of catching crabs.

What on earth are ITV thinking with that claptrap!! I didn’t think anyone could be as unfunny as Sarah Millican but by jove she’s only gone and done it!!

I'm going to stick my neck out here and say that female comedy performers are just not funny. OK, before anyone says Victoria Wood or Caroline Aherene, yes, they were brilliant writers. But the funniest characters in their sitcoms were men (Jim Royle/Stan the handyman in Dinnerladies) and I think they realised this when writing their own characters. Victoria Wood's (RIP) stand up was pretty mediocre. I'll probably get accused of being sexist but here's Exhibit A: Miranda Hart and also that bloody Ghostbusters vanity project remake. And no one watches The Fast Show for "does my bum look big in this?"

Saw Millican live once at the Machynlleth comedy festival, being dead was probably the best option. She was trialling new material for her (then) upcoming TV stuff, ye gods it was grim. I still think the bloke doing terrible knob gags with his belt sticking out of his flies should have been offered a series even though he was slightly less crap than her.

Caroline Ahern was a brilliant comic performer in everything she did particularly in the Fast Show Wood was pretty good Millican is no better or worse than dozens of male stand ups I watched the Ghostbusters reboot expecting it to be appalling...it wasn't it was OK with some very good moments, would watch it again (unlike Ghostbusters 2 which is pap) Smack The Pony was a very good sketch show I know Miranda Hart is detested by pretty much everybody else but I think she's funny at times could go on it's all subjective of course
