Got to admire the resilient little bastards.
2-0 down away, and come away with 3 points...
Ideal scenario is for us to get our shit back together, and when we get promoted say cheerio as they go the other way...

Be back in the championship in 3 years Think they are alot more organised than we were mate unfortunately Does anyone know, outside the usual 7 who have been in the top flight without interruption since the 1980's, what other club has had the longest stretch in the top league? Could be us?

We have the 20th most premier League points since it began so not bad at all.

We have the 20th most premier League points since it began so not bad at all. Not even close! Assuming you're talking about the Premiership, then the following clubs have been in it consecutively for longer than us, and most of them have more than one stint behind their names: Aston Villa - 24 seasons Newcastle United - 16 Southampton - 13 Fulham - 12 Leeds United - 12 Blackburn Rovers - 11 Bolton Wanderers -11 Middlesborough 11 then.... Stoke City - 10 Sunderland - 10 Couldn't be arsed to check all-time top flight, but again seriously doubt it's us - a Cursory glance suggests such luminaries as ... Ah suff it! Now that you've made me waste a good hour of my Saturday ........ Our longest consecutive run in the top flight was 16 seasons which ended with relegation in 1907! (and to think people didn't believe us when we were saying that our premiership years were some of the best years in Stoke's history) Apart from the top 6 and Everton, these teams have longer consecutive runs in the top flight since it began: (in no particular order) West Brom Villa Blackburn Wolves Bolton Burnley Derby Sunderland Forest Wednesday Birmingham Sheffield Utd Newcastle Blackpool Middlesborough Huddersfield West Ham Coventry Leeds Southampton Portsmouth Ipswich The good news is we tie with Notts County and beat everyone else including Dog Doo teams like Bournemouth, Brighton, Watford, Vale and the like. Some of the (slightly) surprising names we beat include: Leicester Fulham Palace QPR Cardiff Norwich Charlton Wimbledon So here's to the perrenial also-rans .... US!

I think we generally do ok in terms of top flight, looking at the history of all clubs in the top flight we have dropped to 18th in terms of number of seasons in the top flight, and in the premier league era we are higher than that I think although I can't find the stats. Generally we are a club who in our good times will be in the top flight, and otherwise challenging to get in the top flight. O'Neill will make us challengers again I'm sure. And if Wolves can go ten seasons in the premier league like we did I'm sure they'll be over the moon.

Aren't Wolves basically a Franchise of Jorge Mendes's player agency including their manager with the Wolves owners also having a stake in his agency, it's all working very well at the moment but will be interesting what happens when it doesn't work.

I think itโs a positive because teams like Stoke hope we can make it in the big time. We were beginning to get established as a strong mid table team challenging for Europe, and the possibility of a cup final now and again (until we balls it up).

Wolves have been impressive the last 3 seasons! Really hope we can reach that level at some time again! Not under the present owners for all there wealth they lack ambition & know how. They have fallen behind the times & missed the greatest chance this club ever had of being firmly established as a top half premier league club.

Wolves are Jorge Mendes' club now basically, which to be fair I'd be thrilled about right now as a Wolves fan but if he loses interest or a bigger club want the Mendes treatment they might get the backseat and then what?
Going brilliantly for them now though, great football and exciting players.

I remember when we got promoted a Wolves fan said we'd stay up for 3 seasons: autumn, winter and spring
Made me laugh and they have exceeded my expectations. That said, when Nuno goes it'll be the beginning g of the end like others have said
