It pains me to say it but Rowett's got Milwall in great shape. They did a really effective job stopping us playing - but we didn't help ourselves today, we could and should have taken way more of the initiative and that's down to management and tactics as well as the players. The Bet365's meant to intimidate opponents, not us lot. Compared with recent efforts, underwhelmed by Mick's work today tbh.
5* from me

One of his worst games.
No subs till 75 minutes by which time the game was a dead rubber. Once millwall went down to 10 men they shut up shop and played down the clock.
Turgid game but at least we didn't look like losing.

Why have cousins and woods on the bench but no pace with Ngoy.
Left it too late to make any changes

Why did he leave the subs so late?
We were doing absolutely nothing against a poor side. It needed changing somehow.
Campbell and McClean could have been dragged off at half time were how little they did in the first half. That didn’t change in the second half.

0 Dreadful approach no idea how to change it. 0! Are you serious? It was an underwhelming performance but pre MON we could have easily lost that game, we are far from the finished article but progress is being made and a clean sheet again at a team in 7th must merit a 7 at least.

6.5 would have been a 7 if subs were on earlier.

*5. Took too long to take Jimmy Mac off. Took too long to take Bruno off.
I would drop Baath and move Bruno to centre half.

6 as didn't have a plan B to take the game to them when they were down to 10 men. Should have taken McLean off for Verlinden and put Ince on the right with Campbell moving to number 9 with Gregory as the number 10.

7 * for me did ok in a game we used to lose! Centre half’s both looked so nervous...crowd get edgy and they get edgy. Hopefully Shawcross will solve that and hopefully give more confidence.

7* named the same line up that battered Huddersfield, Milwall came here to spoil the game and nick a point, MON could have made the subs earlier but apart from McClean no one was having a bad game we just couldn't break them down. It was just one of those games, a few months ago we'd have lost it but another clean sheet gave us a point, if we'd have shown half as much fight under Jones some of the losses would have been draws and we'd now be well clear of the bottom 3, lets not forget MON is still trying to get a tune out of someone else's squad. Gouranga.

6 *.Agree subs should’ve been made far sooner. JMac not on his game & Verlinden showed some pace and intent for the brief time he was on. Millwall were so drab & employed spoiling tactics, never looked like scoring. Disappointed that we didn’t start off with real purpose, the endless passing across or back was lamentable. MON generally is doing a steady job, needs some bolder sub decisions. Joe Allen best thing about today, hope him playing means he’ll stay, we need his professionalism. Tyrese didn’t take his chances on the wing, never really got it going, Powell showed up abit more second half. We need better right & left backs urgently - please get ShawX & Collins together soon as. ( Collins warming up looked better than Lindsay!)
