The biggest wanker ever to manage our football club. Quite an achievement. Nathan Jones ? There's a difference between worst and biggest wanker. Not a great deal, but Rowett wins the award for me.

Yeh lets just give him a round of applause for spunking 50 mil up the wall and helping (not the only reason) us into the position we are now.

I'll look at him and think £30M on Afobe, Ince and Woods and say fuck him. I'll look at the big loan deals for fat arse Williams and the competition winner Martina (one of the worst players I've seen for Stoke in any division) and think double fuck him!
My response to that wanker, Jones would be 10 times worse mind.

I don’t get the argument that he’s have done an excellent job.
Would he have certainly have learned how to spend money?
Would he have suddenly have introduced creativity into the team?
Would his man management have miraculously improved.
A reminder that according to Crouch, he wanted his Stoke team to try and catch teams on the break. That was never going to work when we’d just been relegated, installed as favourites and spent what we spent. Teams came for a point, we had no idea how to break them down, and they worked out we were shit at the back and took all three.
He’s a decent manager of a plucky underdog. That’s it.

Can we please ease off with the abuse until we are two or three up. I can see “Gary Rowett, your football is shit” chants blowing up in our faces spectacularly if we aren’t careful.

When I look at what he is achieving at Millwall and what he achieved at Birmingham City, it makes me realise just how poisonous our club must have been.
Turned bang average teams into decent teams with the exception of ours
Should have kept his gob shut, and he’d still be here now, IMHO.

If you look at it objectively, he wasn't performing much less than MON, but crucially expectation was much higher and he was let down. He then went to war with the fans, but truly none of us know what was going on behind the scenes. Let's just hope that we run out deserved winners and can give him a bot of stick back. Then all is forgotten.

I know we found ourselves in a worse position with him leaving but he constructed the most expensive squad in Championship history and had us languishing in the bottom half. I have no problem with him, like others have said on here he's admitted his mistake in making comments. However I'm not quite able to jump on the train stating he was doing a good job, he wasn't given long enough maybe, but good? No.
I won't clap but as soon as he starts complaining about the ref he'll probably be given some.

The fans would've (rightly) turned on him even if he had kept his gob shut. They already were doing. Opening his mouth didn't cause his demise, it merely expedited it.

As much as I think he's a bit of a tit, he's much more of a competent manager than Jones by an order of magnitude.

It all started going wrong when Scholes and Carthorse got involved with transfers, why do you think he walked before the season started only to be talked around by Coates. They have been responsible for most of the Fuck ups at this club, Rowett needed time and to be left to do the job he was brought in to do.

The only decent signing he made was Etebo and it’s highly unlikely that he actually signed him. The pressure was too much for him. He was supported by the board to the hilt. In fact, in hindsight, supported far too much.

Where has this rumour come from that Rowett wanted to leave before a ball was kicked during that pre-season?

Afobe was his absolute top choice as striker and wasn't remotely suited to how he wanted to play, is that Scholes' fault? He insisted on signing Woods and Clucas because he turned his nose up at the Etebo signing. He didn't sign anyone remotely creative bar Ince. For ten million pounds.
