Is he actually any good in your humble opinion? Suppose time will tell, Banksy, But there's got to be a lot to work with when you're very quick, have got a torpedo of a left foot and a bit of ego about you. He does seem to be a natural goalscorer. He's already got 7 goals in 9 starts. Those 2 finishes at Huddersfield were sensational. How much would it have cost us, with our FFP problems, to replace that level of potential?

Positively surprised by this one to be honest! Thought it was a lost case really.

I would hope he now kicks on and makes that number 9 shirt his own. He offers so much variety in that role, with pace and ability to work the channels, coupled with his finishing prowess he is by far the best player in that position we have. He needs to work on his hold up play and heading, but we should really be chuffed his commited himself to us.

I've only had half an eye on Stoke lately. Went to the game on boxing day, even after his stoppage time goal the bloke in front, who had been fairly slating him since he'd come on, turned round and said "he's still wank" - difficult to judge on a cameo but he'd not had a touch until he rocketed it in.

Very positive news. We should be building our former youth prospects into our long term future, and not letting them slip away for peanuts. I agree but really have we ever had a youngster get away and go on to do better elsewhere ???? True, so it's as much about being thankful we have a former youth prospect worth keeping as it is about keeping him.

Michael O'Neill is really turning the good ship Stoke City around, brillant news.Showing confidence in a young upcoming striker who looks more than capable of 20+ in a injury free championship season. This season is all about staying up,but WHEN we do avoid relegation, next season is looking good already.MON is building for next season.....GO ON STOKE.

He'll be on an absolute wedge
Still, better than paying a huge fee plus big wages for strikers that are as good 👍

Fantastic news , so much credit to Michael O'Neill's man management skills - playing him and persuading him to stay with us. Happy Days indeed - this affirms the growing positivity at Stoke.

As with Bursik this is how the contract works
He’s a roaring success and it’s why the fuck didn’t stoke tie him down longer
He’s utter wank and it’s whoever the fuck sanctioned 4.5 years wants sacking
Hope that helps

Tyrese going to lead us back to the Premier League.
And if that doesn't end up being the case, he's still as good or better than most strikers we'd sign for a transfer fee.

It’ll probably be filled with clauses so when the day comes just accept it as he wouldn’t of signed if it wasn’t
