Phishing. I had never heard of this until a couple of weeks ago. It would appear to becoming more prevalent.
My story is that I received a e mail which to all appearances came from Apple, and looked totally genuine.
The e mail confirmed my order for a 25 dollar gift card. If the order was incorrect please click here !!
Needless to say I did not click it. After a little research on Google I managed to speak to a human being at Apple customer services who immediately recognised it as a PHISING exercise. They confirmed that you should not click on any links and also as far as Apple are concearned they will always invoice you in GB Pounds no matter where in the world you make a purchase.
I deleted the e mail and ignored it.
Hope this may help and warn people.

One of the best I had was someone making there own Apple site. Very professional looking, someone who clearly had experience in site creation made it.
Was told 'my account was locked for security reasons, please reset password'. Gave a very official looking login page, but obviously had it's flaws as it accepted cock@dick.com as the email and password. It then went to say to further verify my identity, I should enter my Card Number, Acc number, Sort and Sec, Name and Address.
Obviously I didn't because it's screaming obvious but some poor sap who knows nothing about phishing will fall for it and have their entire identity and bank account stolen.
