She'd win her seat in Hackney without breaking sweat..... Without a doubt. But the affect she has on the voting intentions of folk elsewhere makes it a problem for Labour, a problem not worth having. If it means less people vote labour then I bloody hope she gets her whip back ASAP. The less seats tory and Labour have the better. Our public services are decimated and the only plan these clowns have are tax breaks for the rich and austerity for the poor.

Whether the reasons are right or wrong, a massive amount of people can’t stand her. The same with Corbyn. That’s why they couldn’t beat Boris in the last election. The majority of voters are simple folk, many of who don’t really know what they’re voting for, the thought of Abbott on the front bench is enough for some to say no, despite the many failures of the current government. She was returned to Parliament in 2019 with a majority of around 35,000 another increase from 2017. She is admired and loved in her constituency. So your suggestion that "people can't stand her" is frankly, nonsense. In her constituency yes. Elsewhere quite the opposite.

Big fan of Danny Dyer is The Hudster😉 Is anyone a fan of Danny Dyer ? I saw him trying to play an IRA man in Law & Order think it was. He sounded more like Fat Bastard from Austin Powers A fan of his views on David Cameron.

Labour have positioned themselves fighting for votes with Reform/Lib Dem/Tory and people who are considering Labour over those parties may vote elsewhere. 4 parties offering different takes of the same dish. It's the green and workers party vote Labour should be more concerned about. And I don't think Diane having a whip back will make those voters go Labour.

Yup... Only in his head... Whooooaaaaa...Hold the front page... 1) Diane Abbot has claimed Brexit was triggered by racists who did not like seeing people who look 'foreign' on their streets. She Branded Brexiters "Stupid and Racist" 2) She said Brexit supporters had attacked ethnic minority voters afterwards but has no evidence to back this up 2) Said when people spoke about immigrants, often included people like her from ethnic minority backgrounds who had been British for generations (Her Parents are Jamaican, she has been brought up traditionally Jamaican. Her loyalties are clearly biased towards West Indian people). 3) "London shouldn't have another white middle ages mayor" 4) "Blonde, blue-eyed Finnish girls" are unsuitable as nurses because they had "never met a black person before" 5) Abbott tweeted "White people love playing 'divide and rule' We should not play their game" in 2012 6) Abbott suggested that taxi drivers discriminate on racial grounds, tweeting that she was "Dubious of black people claiming they’ve never experienced racism. Ever tried hailing a taxi I always wonder?" 7) Abbott captures a central political fact, which is that white people in western societies have benefited from their histories of colonial exploitation. .She used the hashtag "tactics as old as colonialism." 8) “West Indian mothers would go to the wall for their children”, suggesting others would not, Andrew Neil responded: "So black mums love their kids more than white mums, do they?" She could not bring herself to say mothers of every race love their children just as much. 9) The MP was investigated by the Committee on Standards and Privileges in 2004 when it emerged she had failed to declare earnings of £17,300 for appearances on The Week. 10) Has a charity that helps black children only in education and spent 29K of its 35K budget on a party for Parliament. 11) Missing a Brexit Vote claiming she has a migraine. We don’t believe her. 12) Another racist attack on white people. More so men, again. www.express.co.uk/news/uk/769246/diane-abbott-labour-racist-attacks-radicalisation-white-men-sky-sophy-ridgeWhere does it stop, every time she opens her mouth she does every other party a favour Surely this is one too many racist remarks and its time to find a more suitable person, she appears to be obsessed with white people being racist, she appears almost desperate to prove all white people are racist yes persists to shun them, how can she represent the other races, particularly the white people in her constituency, fairly? We do not need another MP who's policies are all about racism, anti white and British hatred and nothing else. Even her charity is for black children in education, Id she excluding other children in need becuase of skin colour?. Considering she was a race relations officer for 2 years, she has done nothing for creating good race relations, just controversy and divide between communities and that is not healthy.. Really, no one is against black people being in the house of commons but we do object to racist MP's being in there. Its time for a new more positive Just like Knype and Phileteen (who liked your post) you really need to educate yourself as to what racism actually is. In her constituency yes. Elsewhere quite the opposite. And so it should be up to the people outside her constituency that decide who should represent them - including those who would never vote for her party anyway? Parliament needs more independent minded MPs prepared to challenge their own party, not less. I completely agree with your last sentence. It’s just that many folk can’t stand her thanks to her own incompetence, her racist attitude towards white people, her not managing to put her shoes on the right feet or even matching shoes, but also because of the way the right-wing press presents her and whether you like it or not a massive amount of people are influenced by it. She might be a brilliant MP for her constituency, but nobody outside of it talks about. But they do talk about the things I’ve just mentioned. I am not questioning her right to stand as an MP, whether that be independently or for Labour. Some might say the only reason she’s successful in her constituency is because of the large amount of black people within it backing her because of race, some might say a lot of people outside of it don’t like her because of race, there will be truth in both. You might not like it but image is everything and she damages the image of the Labour Party. Many folk don’t really know what they’re voting for (as shown by some EU leaver voters saying “it’ll get rid of the P***s”) but despite their policies Labour didn’t stand a chance in the last election as Corbyn and Abbott came across so unlikeable. Starmer is suffering in the same way somewhat. I’m rambling on now, I know I’m not as good with words as others on here, but I don’t want the Tories to have any chance of success in the next election. Abbott would become a tool for them.

Only in your head you absolute melt. Yup... Only in his head... Whooooaaaaa...Hold the front page... 1) Diane Abbot has claimed Brexit was triggered by racists who did not like seeing people who look 'foreign' on their streets. She Branded Brexiters "Stupid and Racist" She didn't this was Fake Reporting by the Daily Fail who issued this retraction in later Editions An earlier version of this article stated that Diane Abbott MP had called those who voted for Brexit 'stupid and racist'. We are happy to clarify that this was in fact the phrase used by Tory MPs who responded to Ms Abbott's remarks at a meeting at the Labour party conference.www.google.com/amp/s/www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3808891/amp/Brexiteers-accused-foreign-faces-Corbyn-s-pal-Diane.html
2) She said Brexit supporters had attacked ethnic minority voters afterwards but has no evidence to back this up There is an abundance of evidence - Article one year after Brexit Vote
Race and faith attacks reported across UK increase by highest rate on record since the referendum, Freedom of Information figures reveal
www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/home-news/racist-hate-crimes-surge-to-record-high-after-brexit-vote-new-figures-reveal-a7829551.html
2) Said when people spoke about immigrants, often included people like her from ethnic minority backgrounds who had been British for generations (Her Parents are Jamaican, she has been brought up traditionally Jamaican. Her loyalties are clearly biased towards West Indian people). What utter poppycock is Rishi brought up in the Indian Tradition only favouring Indian people, is Cruella, Jim Dimley etc brought up in their Tradition
Some might classify your remark as Racist, I consider it only crass3) "London shouldn't have another white middle ages mayor" This was a comment Abbott made in relation to her Labour Party opponent Gareth Thomas as one of six Candidates for London Mayor. Her comment was crass and in the end neither received the nomination
Strangely another Labour MP Margaret Hodge (Labour Friends of Israel) had made the exact same comment a few months previously but it didn't get much Media Coverage 4) "Blonde, blue-eyed Finnish girls" are unsuitable as nurses because they had "never met a black person before" There is no other way of calling it but a Racist comment
The back story of why Abbott said this in 1996 is writing in the local Hackney Gazette she questioned hiring 20 Finnish Nurses for her local hospital and that nurses from the Caribbean might be more suitable.
To some degree Abbott expressed here everything that is wrong and divides Society and creates a hierarchy of Racism which Abbott has plunged herself into
Anti-Racism at its core is about Social Equality but what has evolved is each "Tribe" has retreated to its own grouping
Let's also be honest it has also manifested into White Privilege. Therefore how can White Brits who suffer similar Social disadvantage align
Whether this has evolved or was Engineered is hard to tell.
Abbotts 1996 comments were undoubtedly Racist but how do they differ from these?
The “values” of those crossing the Channel in small boats, Jenrick claimed, were “completely different” to British values, and were “undermining cultural cohesion”. His ministerial boss, the home secretary, Suella Braverman, echoed the claim that Channel migrants “possess values… at odds with ours"
5) Abbott tweeted "White people love playing 'divide and rule' We should not play their game" in 2012 This was said in a private twitter exchange between Abbott and Bim Adewunmi in context of the Stephen Lawrence Trial Adewunmi objected to the generalisation of the "Black Community"
As she often does Abbott engaged mouth before brain and responded with another Generalisation I.e "White People like to Divide and Rule"
As a generalisation it is a Racist Comment, as a commentary on Colonialism it is entirely accurate 6) Abbott suggested that taxi drivers discriminate on racial grounds, tweeting that she was "Dubious of black people claiming they’ve never experienced racism. Ever tried hailing a taxi I always wonder?" If she did it was stupid, anyone that uses London Cabs know they discriminate against everyone and won't take you where you want to go if it doesn't suit the.7) Abbott captures a central political fact, which is that white people in western societies have benefited from their histories of colonial exploitation. .She used the hashtag "tactics as old as colonialism." She used the term in your Point 5 above and its entirely accurate as far as I'm concerned 8) “West Indian mothers would go to the wall for their children”, suggesting others would not, Andrew Neil responded: "So black mums love their kids more than white mums, do they?" She could not bring herself to say mothers of every race love their children just as much. Again context is important, she was speaking in a personal capacity in defending her decision to send her son to Private School. Hypothetical possibly, Racist no.9) The MP was investigated by the Committee on Standards and Privileges in 2004 when it emerged she had failed to declare earnings of £17,300 for appearances on The Week. In what way is this Racist?
You may be shocked how many MPs "Inadvertently" forget to declare all their earnings which is for Transparency reasons only. It's not as if her appearances on This Week alongside Michael Portaloo would go unnoticed or people not expect she was paid to do so.10) Has a charity that helps black children only in education and spent 29K of its 35K budget on a party for Parliament. There are literally dozens of organisations of which MPs either Head or are members of e.g. Conservative/Labour Friends of Israel. The "Party" back in 2014 was actually an awards ceremony held at Westminster
I'd say Abbott has a particular interest in Education as a means of Social Mobility. She herself was only one of Two Black Caribbean Women to gain a Place in Cambridge in the 1970s where she read History 11) Missing a Brexit Vote claiming she has a migraine. We don’t believe her. Again is this Racist?
You'd be amazed the number of MPs who suddenly are unavailable for contentious votes including 2 of the last 3 PMs who miraculously were needed for on urgent meeting overseas so unfortunately missed a vote in HoC
12) Another racist attack on white people. More so men, again. www.express.co.uk/news/uk/769246/diane-abbott-labour-racist-attacks-radicalisation-white-men-sky-sophy-ridgeIt is completely acknowledged that of all MPs Abbott is subjected to the most vile online abuse
Sometimes that abuse is not anonymous but by the largest Conservative Party Donor whose dislike for Abbott is so extreme he would like to shoot her and as a result hates all Black Women
According to Rishi, Hesters comments were Rude.Where does it stop, every time she opens her mouth she does every other party a favour Surely this is one too many racist remarks and its time to find a more suitable person, she appears to be obsessed with white people being racist, she appears almost desperate to prove all white people are racist yes persists to shun them, how can she represent the other races, particularly the white people in her constituency, fairly? If I were Diane I'd leave the Labour party and call a by election (unlike Mr Lee Anderson). The most damage she can do to the Labour leadership is beating them in a by election. Will help increase the momentum of breaking up the status quo and then she can go and best them again at a GE.

I do. I'm not going to stand here and say she's never said something which could be considered racist because she has. But then Boris was made PM off the back of a career of making comments which could be interperted as racist. Lee Anderson, Liz Truss, Suella Bravemerman. Most of these people have all been conservstive leaders or leader hopefuls too. What I don't understand is what makes Diane different from the above? People won't vote labour if Diane has whip restored but they would vote for the above. I also find it quite ironic that Neil Coyle who has a very colourful short history in politics of bullying, offensive comments, racism and sexual harassment has his whip restored and nobody won't be voting labour because of that. It's simply because Diane Abbott gets treated differently from all of the above.

Even worse I remember it in one of those awful football films then many started using it, especially on football sites Depends where you look I guess. Some claiming it originated in Irish slang .
