I'm after some advice. I'm a bit of a luddite when it comes to things like this. I have Sky Q at home with 2 mini boxes. Apparently I can't have another mini box as I have the maximum allowed. My little girl is now at an age where she wants to watch TV in her room (she only has a DVD player at the moment and no aerial). I thought about getting her a Smart TV and getting Netflix. I can add Netflix to my Sky package for £6 pm at the moment but will she be able to watch this on her TV or will I only be able to watch it on the Sky boxes? And is Netflix actually any good for kids TV programmes?
Any help/advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

If she has a phone/tablet, get Netflix on her device and buy her a chromecast (30 quid..no subscriptions needed, no accounts to register etc) and she can then cast from phone/tablet to the TV.
P.S. chromecasts work on literally any TV with a hdmi port. No need to buy smart tv etc.

I cant really help with the Netflix on Sky boxes. I pay 8.99 a month I think it use the App through my SmartTV and various tablets and phones. Google might answer the question for you as I'm sure somebody else has tried it.
I can say though that my daughter (6 almost 7) loves Netflix and pretty much watches it exclusively. There does seem to be quite a lot for her to watch and there always seems to be something new that she'll watch.
As an adult I use it a lot as well so its definitely worth the money I'd say.

Further to this a Firestick from Amazon has a Netflix app on it and you could probably get a firestick with a bit of discount on Black Friday. I'm sure the same could be said for Chromecasts.

Thanks for the replies. I have got a Firestick knocking about, I could plug that into her TV, didn't think of that - saves buying another one. Also, done a quick Google and looks like you can use the Netflix account set-up on Sky on other devices etc.
Was thinking of doing it after Xmas but might do it now while it's only £6.
