When will the club provide some clarity on NJ’s position...
Does he stay or does he go...surely they have to clear it up one way or another?

What happens now at a normal club and what happens now at Stoke City are two very different things!

Suppose silence does at least buy them some flexibility?
As long as they're privately keeping him in the loop, as they must be?
If they come out and give him a full-throated vote of confidence today, they'd be in a bit of a mess if we meekly surrender to Fulham.
I really wouldn't kow wht to say if I was with them as they were clearly going to sack him, maybe up until Hogan scored - and, for all we know, they may still be planning to do so if they get a yes from a Moyes or a Hughton.

Nathan puts his Joe Allen portrait back on the wall Collects his car keys back off Scholes and waits for the ITK's off here to tell him he's sacked AGAIN.

Is it “conundrum time” for the family. You quite rightly suggest that silence buys them time and flexibility. If only we’d have taken advantage of our last three home games I assume there wouldn’t even be a conversation to be had.

Have the club actually said 'anything' official in the last couple of weeks about it? Don't think I've seen anything if I'm honest. Personally I think they'll just wipe their collective brow, thank their lucky stars they kept their gobs shut and hope Saturdays result is the start of a resurgence. Unless they're secretly a long way down the line in their dealings with a replacement in which case who knows. Either way, things look a hell of a lot brighter than they did Saturday morning
