Fair play to him for donating it. Wish someone would say something about me and elicit a payout lol There was a case a few years ago when a journo ( Daily Mail I think ) said something really defamatory about a business man, said business man sued the paper and got a handy payout, it later transpired that they were in cahoots and split the payout. I think both ended up in Jail.

Interestingly James was represented in Court by Pat Finucanes son.
Pat Finucane was murdered in front of his wife and children by Loyalist hitmen allegedly with collusion by RUC Special Branch.
The Finucanes Family have a long history with the Republican Movement.

He wants try and win a challenge next You think it'd be quite a coaching quick win to tell him when he's jockeying the player with the ball, to get a lot closer to him instead of doing it from about 5ft away?

Good man! I just wish he was a rather better footballer! But to be fair he is being hung out to dry at left-back due to the club not recruiting a suitable player for such a key position.

The Finucanes Family have a long history with the Republican Movement. There is a difference between supporting the Republican Movement and being a terrorist. McClean was accused of being a "Provo" - in effect of being a terrorist. Not everyone who believes in a united Ireland is a terrorist - and neither is every Loyalist a terrorist either, And for that matter not every member of the RUC or the Brtish are army supporters of loyalist terrorism even though some of them did. Why is it surprising that someone whose father was killed as a result of the troubles take up a case where some idiot is stirring up the hatred that created the backdrop to his father's murder? Republicanism v Loyalism is an ongoing political battle - but for the most part it's being played out in the political arena and not through terrorism. Anything that tries to pull the debate back into the dark ages needs calling out. So good on McClean and his lawyer for not sitting by and let some idiot stir up the hatred that leads to violence.
